My daughter is being seen today by her ped, he wants to do a weight check? And see about her dark circles, and how she is eating babyfood maybe two times a day nothing else :/ her o.t today is getting a speech therapist involved she watched her eat today and Natalie just doesn't chew, and throws up w texture. Anyway what may the doctor say? Or do? They never seem to help me, and yes she has lost weight and hasn't gained in awhile

Has your OT tried the Wilbarger Technique that includes oral techniques to address the defensiveness issues?

Kind of dropping in here, but has your daughter been referred to a mouth and throat specialist to make sure that everything is developing properly?

Well she said that can't medicate her for the not sleeping, she's only 2.5 years, and I need to keep up the 3rd stage formula. She also ordered a feeding evaluation :/ last time she ordered speech my daughter didn't get it because she talks well, but it's an issue with her not chewing. I'm going to post on the autisum bored too, the doctor told me not to be surprised that when she turns three they say she has aspergeres :( why wouldn't they just tell me now? I already suspected that for months now!

I don't know what the dr may do. I assume that because she is losing weight she maybe slightly under nourished(I know it's not your fault!) and I assume not sleeping enough(again not your fault!) so because of those things it is becoming of medical concern, not just an OT thing anymore. I don't know if maybe the dr could give you some liquid nutrition ideas of a script for something, a supplement of some type. Or maybe something to help her sleep. I just noticed how long ago this was posted...So how did it go? What did the dr say?
