She is constantly licking the couch, books, magazines, toys,what behavior can I teach her that is incompatible with licking?

If this continues....my son put everything in his mouth, up to age 7. Gum did help, but he did pull it out a lot to look at it. What helped was vision therapy. It turned out he had a slight lazy eye, and doing the therapy helped a wide range of sensory issues, including things in mouth, touching everything, need to move, need to spin and more. It was as though the body was trying to figure ways around the vision not working correctly. We did vision therapy at age 8. You can probably do it younger, but I am not sure how young is actually beneficial. Talk to an optometrist.
