we have been there...because gabe has a significant speech delay/disorder...and sensory issues...but he is a social littlel guy so he doesn't fall on the spectrum...


why do they think he is autistic? or do they think he is on the spectrum? if you don't mind me asking...

I'm sorry. I hope that doesn't turn out to be the case. I haven't had to deal with this, but my husbands cousin who we are very very close to has an autistic son whom I am very close with as well. He has sever sensory issues as well. Please let us know what happens you will be in my thoughts.

thanks, I hope it isn't autism, but I think at minimum he will be somewhere on the spectrum.

The good thing is that if he IS on the spectrum, he's gotta be very mild if he got to 5 years old without a diagnosis.

My son was just diagnosed with Asperger's, again as Pam said, a high functioning form of Autism.
