That's what we refer to as melt downs. Leanna has been that way since she was two. She only has SPD. This melt downs occure for certain reasons, not enough sleep or too much lol, bad days at home and or school and nightmares. If she was mad when she went to bed, usually she wakes up mad as well. My son used to bite himself, smash his head of things, knock dressers down, throw things etc at two. Most of this was SPD but also a milk allergy as well. They was you discribe her coming out of it and sayiong Hi mom reminds me of my son. I was refered by project SAHS to a book called "Is this my child" by doris rapp. You can probably get it at your library like I did. It's about foods and how kids react to them. It's worth a shot. Well daddy is bipolar, so maybe I'm the wrong person to answer this, but both my kids does this. Especially my 3yo DD. She can throw the biggest, loudest, most ear aching fit & recover as quickly as she started the fit. Now, funny, I would say she's effected less by SID than my 5yo DS.

Personally, I think it would have more
