If I had a nickel for everytime a dr. said a woman couldn't get pregnant, but she did anyways, boy would I be rich, lol! I know lots of women that's happened to. CONGRATULATIONS!! I am truly happy for you. I can tell you're a great mom with plenty of love for 2 more babies. You'll have to come back and keep us posted on your pregnancy. Good luck!

Hello,

Thanks guys! We told the kids yesturday. It went well. Mark said why are they comming out of your tummy when I didn't and we explained and all he said was "well...okay your still my mommy!" and it was so cute! None of them really had any objections. I am worried about Lilly when they do come though. with her being autistic and all. She is the baby right now so when the new ones arrive....Any way thought i'd check in. Is there a chat for this board at all? just wondering!

I'm glad that they took the news well! As for Lilly, at least she isn't an only child so she is used to having other children around. Hopefully she will take her cues from her brothers and sisters and have a relatively smooth transition to the new babies. BTW did I tell you how jealous I am that you are having twins? Since I was a little girl I wanted to have twins, they run in my family, but those genes skipped me.

As for a chat...I don't think we have gotten a chat going. Jan is away for a little while, but we can ask her when she gets back. I have no clue how to start a chat, or anything. Shelley

Hey shelly,

twins run in my family as well. My sisters were twins and I was really really hoping I would have at least one set. I will soon have 2! Our doctor thinks Lilly will handle it well too but you know us parents! we are always so worried about our little ones!

Yes we always do worry about the kids more than anyone else. Although I find that people will worry about the weirdest things...the things I know aren't worth worrying about. Like Alicia will get a bruise, because she has banged her knee repeatedly up against the table, and my parents will be like "Oh my goodness....that bruise is awful you should get a blood test", or if she has the common cold they want her to get medicated right away, whereas I want to wait, because I don't want her to get an immunity to the medications.

As for the twins...you are lucky, and I hope that you are taking a break now and then, from your busy schedule to rest and relax. Shelley

Hey,

once my kids are in bed I am come here and go to the chats, or on my lunch breaks I have naps of I can :D but it's hard to find me time. My hubby takes the kids out 2 or 3 nights a week to go to nannies or aunts houses or out for dinner or to the park or just SOMETHING so I can relax and finish up marking and everything for school with out having Lilly clinging to me or Maria asking me a million questions or having mark scream "Mommy...I am stuck in the door again!" Mark is 6 and think he should learn how to work his own wheelchair now since chris and maria can use their all by their selves so I taught him how to but he gets stuck in door ways alot lol it's so cute. Chris and Maria have power chairs but mark still has a wheel chair lol....*sigh* so I do get a chance to relax...I think thats where I was going with this....it's been a long day!
