So what are you going to do to make the day fun, while you're hanging out?

WE'll probably read, or bake cookies, or watch movies, or...that's why I didn't get specific.LOL We'll see where the mood takes us. I usually give my DD the choice of what she wants to do...then she feels more "grown up" then my Ds and I go along, this will only work for a little while longer as DS is 16 months old now and is starting to want things.LOL

The favourite around here is Peanut Butter, with/withuut chocolate chips. Thank goodness no one here is allergic to the staple of my diet!!!!!! My MIL just told me about a peanut butter pie recipe. I don't have the exact ingredient dosages but you take peanut butter and ice cream, whip it together, and pop it into a graham wafer pie crust. Put in the freezer over night (she only did it from about 10 am until 6pm) add nuts and chocolate on top and serve. Talk about almost melting. LOL

Hubby is helping a friend build a pool deck the entire weekend, so we won't spend too much time together until Monday, (when I hide the car keys)! LOL I have two girls still at home so we'll be doing some craft projects. Elena (my little on with CP) loves helping me with crafts and this weekend we're painting t-shirts. I have five grandchildren, so I bought 5 t-shirts and we're painting their names on them and sending them up to Iowa. I do the fronts and her and her sister do their art-work on the backs. They're turning out quite nicely. We did a red-white-blue theme on all of them, just in time for 4th of July.

Monday is BBQ'ing. Thankfully, hubby (Jim) loves to cook! Wonder how I got so lucky! I hope everyone enjoys their day.

Sounds like a great weekend and I love the idea for the t-shirts, being a crafter in my second life!
