ABC News reported on a movement to require cameras in special needs classrooms:
A grassroots movement to put cameras in classrooms, driven by the parents of special-needs students, is simmering across the country. It's a personal crusade for many of the parents who say their children have suffered abuse at the hands of teachers and classroom aides with unsatisfying consequences.

I can understand why parents want to know that special ed teachers are being monitored since some of these kids can't even speak for themselves.
What are your thoughts on this?

I have no problem with cameras being present! This is one way to protect these children who sometimes don"t have a voice, or know the difference between a healthy and unhealthy teaching environment.
