Christmas is...OVER!

How did christmas go for all of you? Things went very well here! The pony was a big hit hehe. Sami my new horse came today so that was nice. He still knows me. The huge christmas dinner worked out to. Rorie, Rogie, Chris and I had a lot of fun cooking all day christmas eve day in preparation for 36 people invading our humble abode. Everyone was very impressed that I pulled it off. It was my time hosting our christmas dinner and I am known to be the scatter brain in the family so everyone was very impressed. The kids took the huge swarm of people well. Lilly bit her aunt once though. (oops!) Should have been watching her but that was the
only "attack" we had that evening. Well I am a little busy at the moment so I am going to have to scoot! adios!

Wow, Nya, where do you get your energy!?? You ARE pregnant with twins, right? I'm so glad you all had a nice Christmas and the big dinner went well. Now I want you to take a long nap, okay? Just teasing--I really think you are so sweet and admire you--though I am a bit jealous of all that energy!

Our Christmas went well, too. We went to church on Christmas Eve and it's so funny because the kids always sing carols on the way home from church--very loudly and not so in tune, but it is beautiful anyway, and Sydney just laughs with their singing. Santa came and we opened presents in the morning. Sierra(7.5)loved all her art supplies and hasn't stopped drawing yet. Steven(10)loves his Lego pirate ship and his "Battery Science" experiment book/kit. Sydney(11)mostly got bath stuff and clothes--she's happy just to be in the middle of all the excitement. The teens got most of the stuff on their lists. We had a nice day, just our family(all relatives live at least 1000miles away).

I am sooo glad it is over, though! I always look forward to starting a fresh, new year!! I'm ready to get back to some projects that need doing--finish painting Steven's room, also need to paint a couple bathrooms and our bedroom, well it NEVER ends! I'm also hoping to get dh to commit to starting a homestudy(he still hasn't answered me on that one!). I am really getting the bug to add another child to our family.

New Year Blessings to all! Pam
