I went to email you on Thursday night about the money information and I'm not sure I was successful with your email address. In case I did not, my email address is TeacherQueen@aol.com Thanks a million!

Hi Amber,

Things do not look good for the Medicaid Waivers in the state of Ohio.

Sandra
Thanks so much for getting me that information. I read through a little of it until my brain started hurting. I will have to get my husband to sit down with me and work through the different programs. I've tried one of them (BCMH) but they said my son does not have a medical disability (figure that one out???) I've gotten so discouraged about not receiving help that it became easier for me just to pay and do myself. Like I said last week, on ears alone I have spent over $700 in copays and medicine since NOVEMBER! It's becoming ridiculous. If I were to be a drug abuser/homeless/criminal there would be TONS of opportunities for my son. Since I'm not and I care for my son and his well being I get shunned. Sorry for the gripping just tired of the system. Your information definitely gives me more doors that I thought I did not have. I love finding loopholes, probably because I love proving people wrong. I will let you know if anything happens. I do have a question regarding the institutionalization, would they ever try to prove a family wrong and make you commit to showing them your child would need hospitalization. That would be my fear. I don't want to commit to anything that can backfire on me. It makes me feel that I'm giving away custody almost. I know I'm not but you never know what the government would make you do. I understand that Cal's chances of living independently as he is older are slim; however, can you make that call now at such a young age? I guess this is just my fear speaking. Is it not as bad as I am thinking? Well, again thank you for getting me the information. I knew nothing about these opportunities and will definitely check them out!

I cannot say 100% that I know they could take your child away.
