Hi everyone,

I am just wondering where everyone is! Am I the only one still hanging around here or what? I finaly come back and no one else is here! I feel loved :P hehehe! Any way I have a baby update!

We are almost positive they are deaf. Neither of them respond to noise at all but they do respond to movement and vibrations. It's no surprise we were expecting it. I think haveing a garden variety child would be kind of weird now after 10 years of special needs kids. I only have 42 days left but since they are twins I should be expecting them about a month early meaning I really expecting them any time after 13 days from now. Scary thought:|! I was told to expect to go into labour any time with in the next month and a half! I am honestly stressing out over here. How am I going to manage 8 kids, a farm, and a job? I am insane. At least I get a year long mat. leave here. That I can deal with lol. Oh boy if I don't settle down and stop worrying I am going to send myself into labour tonight! On that note I am going to go and do the bed time routines!

Hey gals,

nice to know I am not alone hehehe.
::Sandra::

We are not positive that they are deaf but they do not react to sound as most other babies do . So it can be a strong indication that they will be deaf. With our history it is no suprise and quite likly.

As for the older kids helping out three out of the 6 can. Maria, Mark, and Lilly can't but Rorie, Rogie, and Chris can to some extent. I do have family near by and my MIL has offered to take one or both of the twins (if my FIL is home she will take both) once or twice a week for a few hours so I can get stuff done.

::Jan::

I am actually not taking an extended Mat. leave. That is how long we get over here! We can even divide it between the two spouses. My hubby wanted to do that but I said no...I carried these two around for 9 months I am taking my full mat leave! I think that is fair lol. If he gets pregnant he can take a year off too! lmao.

What's wrong with your computer? Maybe I can help...I am good with computers!
