Hi everyone, anyone with a 504?

My son has ADHD/developmental delays and a heart defect and has an IEP. That seems to cover his goals but I want more in the way of accommodations. So I was thinking of bringing up the 504 plan idea...I have some good ideas what to put in there for ADHD modifications but want something in there about gym class, there are certain things I don't want him doing (running a mile! or some fitness testing) as his heart may not handle it well. Any ideas how I can write the modifications for physical stuff without keeping my son out of every gym game? Thanks!

Hi Lara, the best way to get the information into the 504 would be to have your specialist document what activities your son can and can't participate in.
