Hello!!! I was going to start a thread, but hey, I'll just do it here. We got our Parks and Recreation spring and summer activities book in the mail. Sammy isn't doing the park program this year (did I tell you about the fiasco last year?) only she doesn't know it yet. Instead, Sammy is doing 2 sessions of adaptive swim lessons and Ruby is doing 3 sessions of regular swim lessons. And I don't think either of them are doing summer school this year, that and the park program took all our time and we missed almost all the fun things going on.
Oh, I am skipping the field trip to the horse stable tomorrow, but making green eggs at Head Start was a big hit. They can't serve pork products, so it was only eggs, no ham. Ruby's burning questions about horses are can she ride on the horse with a cowboy hat and be a cowboy-girl and can she see a horse go poop? Oh, I hope we're not back into the poop obsession, LOL.

The same time and make things easy on me? No way! Ruby's are about 11 am and Sammy's are 4:30 pm. I could have gotten them lessons right after each other, but I though adaptive lessons would be better for Sammy. I think I've finally faced the reality that she just doesn't fit in with typical kids :(

Hello, all! Everything here at the Carter household is holding steady. No disasters, except for Cal occasionally dropping the F word, and in context. You pray that some day they will speak clearly and when they do, the words they say. So, right now I'm in a dilema with how to handle that. Do I make a big deal and glorify it or ignore it and hope it goes away and no one hears it? OH, MY!! My hubby and I have decided to try for another baby now, so time is precious! LOL After my m/c in June 04, I've been too devastated to even think about it again. So that is a HUGE accomplishment for me that I have begun to want again. That's pretty much it...sorry got too personal!

OH, Cal has to have another surgery soon. Don't know the date yet, have to have his consult on 2/13. He had his tear ducts probed last June because his openings were way too narrow and they were practically not working. He constantly tears and gets infections. We went to the eye dr last week and she is referring us to an opthomologist that specializes in plastic surgery and he will have a tube placed in both top and bottom tear ducts to get the lining to form around the tube and basically reshape the tear duct! Oh fun!

Well i guess it is my turn now.
Well things are okay here. Nathan has missed 4 days of school becuase of the flu. We did try to go today but they said he was coughing a lot and seemed to be bothered by it.
We did see the doc last Thursday and he has been diagnosed with inattentive add. Well thats all for now.
