What grades are your kids in this year, and what challenges do you foresee for them ?

I have a daughter in 11th and a son in 9th. This year will be challenging for my son, not because of any special needs, but because he doesn't study much, and he will need to be pushed to do well. I think this is something most parents of boys will face this year! LOL.
Here's hoping that all of your children have a safe, happy, and fulfilling school year!

My oldest is a freshmen, the twins are in 6th grade and my youngest is in 3rd. Most of the challenges will lie with the freshmen, he's ADD and we are trying out a new med, along with continually working with him and staying organized and up to date in his classes. So far the twins seem to be taking middle school in stride, I'm already on them about organization so we'll just have to see how they do!

I'm not liking freshman year right now.  My son is so easily distracted, and when he does sit it's for very short periods.  He needs a snack, a drink, he's tired.  My son is not ADD but sure acts like it sometimes!

Good luck with your son.

That drives me up the wall! With mine, he could get his work done in a fraction of the time if he didn't do stuff like that.
