From a teaching standpoint, I have no advice. However, I was reading a book called the LCP Solution which talks about long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. It says this will help dyslexia.

The book is available from Amazon, among others, but try www.lcpsolution.com.

From that website:

As little as 480 mg a day of one of the key LCPs, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), can make all the difference in the world.

My son is in 1st and dyslexic. I have been reading a book called Reading Reflex. It has given me some insight into dyslexia as well as a program I can do at home for my son to supplement what he gets at school.

Have you read this one?

PS: A lot of dyslexics also have auditory processing issues and visual processing issues. In both cases, they can test as having perfect hearing and vision, but have issues in how their brain processes auditory and visual 411. Let me know if you want more 411 on either issue.
