Surprise! I am back from the dead. Things are finally settling down here, giving me a few minutes of free time to sit at the computer. Let's see...in September we lost my grandfather to cancer, and my grandmother moved in with my parents. So we were spending a lot of time over there to keep them all occupied!LOL In November I was rearended as I was on my way to lunch from my substituting aide job (Yep I sub as an aide for the school board working with kids with special needs). Thank goodness I didn't have the kids with me. I had a back injury...basically whiplash in my back so I was out of commision for alomst 2 months. It's all better now except for when I am really tired then it feels weak. In January we had some problems with Alicia having seizures. Her medication kept getting upped but the seizures kept coming. At school though, I never saw any (don't get me started on her learning centre teacher she drives me up the wall with some of her ideas). SO we went through a period of a month and a half trying out new meds before finding one that works for her. That took us up to the beginning of March. My DH and I have a newspaper route so we do that every night (usually me through the week because he is working) and then I was getting tons of calls to sub...so realy there wasn't any time for me to sit. Now that the spring weather(it;s sunny and plus 11c today (about 59f)) is here the calls are getting further in between and the kids are healthy and happy, and so is pretty much everyone else so I have a few minutes to spare.

I know that I have missed alot but its good to be back. Shelley

Oh, you poor thing. Hope that computer holds out a bit longer. The weather was near 50 here, but the wind was bitter cold. The river is supposed to crest at 37 feet Tue or Wed (they keep changing it) and it looks like there could be substantial flooding this year. Of course this would just be the snow melt flooding, we could still flood later with heavy rains. I'll have to post a flood update soon - good thing I"m on second floor!!

Oh, still fiddling with the new icons, don't take anything seriously from me up there, LOL
