Hi my name is Shelly, married to Mike for 11 years and we have 2 boys. We live in Arkansas.

Joshua is 11. He has asthma, kidney reflux with one kidney at 20% function and one at 80% function. He also has ADD, Obbsessive/complusive, agoraphobia, high aniety w/depression.

Jacob is 8. He has asthma, GERD (reflux) nissien fundoplication done with minimal success, IBS, sever lactose intolerant, delayed gastric emptying, partial stomach outlet obstruction, Superior mesenteric artery syndrome (artery is lying on intestines causing a partial obstruction). He has had a g-j feeding tube with a mic key button since June of this year and is feed over a ten hour period while he sleeps. He eats a little by mouth but usually causes pain. He also has ADHD.

Both boys may be facing more surgeries in the coming year.

These are my boys. Looking forward to meeting other parents who understand what it is like have a special needs child.

Welcome to the board. you will get to know all of us soon but I am Nyako. People call me Nya though. I have 6 kids with twins on the way. I am really sorry I can't say more at the moment but my little one with autisim is getting sent home from school so I need to get her lunch ready. I am sick aswell...so this afternoon is going to be...not so fun!

Thank Jan I am feeling better and I will be back at work again tomorrow :D. Lilly was sent home because she was being very violent today and attacked her aide and tried to attack some of the other kids. Okay well for a better introduction! I 27, mother of six with two more on the way.

Chris-12, spinabifida, latex allergy.

Rorie, and Rogie-10, proufoundly deaf.

Maria-8, CP,tube fed, depression, and diagnosed at her last doctors appointment (yesturday) with aspergers.

Mark-6, spinabifida, latex allergy, has only one eye because of retinol blastoma.

Lilly-4, severe autism

Colby, and Corren- In my tummy still but we have a strong feeling they will be deaf.

Cameron-My husband, he's a cardiologist.

That's my family!

I am a 2nd grade teachre at a local school for the disabled. I am a lingerer around the board. Here pretty often now. look forward to getting to know you better!

Joshua is a very thoughtful and serious kid. Jacob is more laid back and always being funny.

I totaly agree with both of you! It's so funny seeing Rorie and Rogie Identical twins who are so alike but even more different!
