just wanted to add a thought. My son is deaf. He has a cochlear implant and can hear while wearing it. When he was around the same age as your DD, i kept thinking something was wrong with the implant because he didn't always look towards me when i called his name. I finally had his speach theripist tell me that a lot of kids, hearing or hearing impared, do ignore their parents. DS now does this regularly, and i can usually tell when hes is ignoring me on purpose or if his batteries just need to be replaced. Again just a thought, i don't have any experience with tubes or loss of hearing due to cronic ear infections.

Thank you for your quick response, andI will definitely look into the choleastoma, as her balance is questionable and she will just fall over sometimes with no reason.
