Ruby is sick

Two days before her birthday on Sunday. I hope she's better by then. Went out for a few last minute things, DH is in a panic when I come home. Ruby had a temp of 103.5 and he didn't know if she needed to go in ASAP and he called the hospital and got disconnected, then called the clinic, then his mom called and interuppted him, he doesn't know what to do, OMG, you'd though the sky was falling in, LOL. I just looked at him and said "It's just a fever, did you give her tylenol and a cool bath?" Well, no he always gives them a bubble bath in the AM can't deviate from the routine, he couldn't remember if you add a degree if the temp is under the arm, Ruby's feet hurt, she's really tired, he didn't know what to do (no, really?) He went on for another 30 minutes, THEN says it went down almost 2 degress in less than an hour, which almost led to another 30 minute conversation.
I thought I had to worry about Ruby, but it looks like she's handling this better than DH. MEN!!!
Looks like we're going to the doc tomorrow, as DH is acting as if she has a fatal disease, and he's most worried because her feet hurt. I know it's not nice, but I just have to laugh at him sometimes, LOL
Please send some "get well" vibes our way, and maybe a "calm down" vibe for DH!
