We have been having 504 Plan meetings every 2-3 weeks for Tyler. Things are going fairly well. Our first meeting was interesting. I was definitely the one in charge. Ex and his wife sat there looking confused the whole time and having NO idea what in the world was happening! LOL They had a team of about 10 staff members there for that meeting. LOL Gosh, can't imagine what they're afraid of. Can you?? LOL (Hmmmm, does comp ed come to mind??)
I have my SPED advocacy business up and running!! YEAH!! Lots of work breaking in. Lots of unbillable time, but later on it will pay in spades. :) I have 1 and 1/2 clients. LOL Long story.
Also, trying to get my meds tweeked in the middle of all of this. That's always fun.
Sandra, congrats on making it to the training...I've had an exhausting day too...will share more later tomorrow.
Hi all, first off glad you guys got to go to your meetings. Hope they were very interesting and full of information.
Things at our house have been very trying and frustrating with Noah. His meltdowns are coming more often which just gets exhausting. Just when I think what they heck are we going to do with this kid he goes and does something great this morning. He is almost 5 1/2 and was just diagnosed PDD-NOS so you will understand why this is such a big deal. He buttoned 3 of his own buttons on his shirt today all by himself while I was dressing my 22m old. He was sooooooooooo proud of himself as am I. I told him I knew he could do it, it would just take practice and he told me yeah I know mom.......LOL.
Just thought I would share a bit of good news from our house.
Jenny, what a wonderful opportunity you had to celebrate!
