Update on Elizabeth

First of all I would like to thank you for your well wishes.

Had to take her to the docs again today. She had (still does) high fevers (around 40 celcius or 107 fahrenheit) and was drifting in and out of sleep all day, off her fluids and food. She now has Tonsillitis (sp?). What else could happen you say???

Well her brother has whacked her broken arm with a plastic golf stick (which have now been put in the bin!) and she has major swelling of the arm. Also the sling has caused her hand to balloon but according to the docs they can't do anything about cause if they loosen the sling she will be able to get her hand out. They said just to keep an eye on it and if it changes colour or temperature to bring her back.

We are coping sort of atm. Just so long as Michael stays away from her we'll be just fine. He goes to kindy and special school on Wed, Thurs and Fri so hopefully this will give Elizabeth a well deserved break.

Wow, Tracy, that's a lot all at once! That is a really high fever--is she on meds to help the tonsilitis now? Poor kid must be miserable. Hope things start looking up and you both get a little rest time while Michael is at school. Pam
