Hello I recently found the hearing impared board and is had been very helpful in dealing with my daughters hearing issues, from hearing aid to all the test the board was one place I could gain info to help my daughter. This bord although it has its place is to vag for the special requirements and concerns for hoh children although they do have special needs they are not like the needs of other special need children. Who else will understand abr oae and s-abr ect... It had been very supportive in my short time there hopefull the board and move to and fit in this folder.

Hi there and welcome over.Sorry that tptb decided to combine our boards. We don't have a cl so I didn't know till someone else posted that here. This board is unique in that there are kiddos on here with very different issues.Though I may not know what an abr oae is or a s-abr ect I am willing to learn what that means. There might be someone on here that does?

Well I want to welcome you though my children may have different issues maybe we might have something in common as well.

Hi saddiebrown.

I've just forced myself from denial enough to be able to come to this board and look for all my fellow Hearing Impairments board posters. I hope that the folder thing works out as well. I also hope that new moms or moms new to iVillage who have kids with hearing loss will think to come to this board to try to hash out their issues. I just noticed that there is also an IEP/504 board, so they may go there... I don't know... We'll see. It is very sad, indeed...
