Replying from the March thread.  :)

Becca - JJ did pretty well decorating eggs.  He had a really good time, but he did end up with cracked eggs and blue fingers.  :)

- I have been wanting stuffed peppers.  I need to dig out my recipe.

Leona - Woohoo that Shayne made it back in time!

Easter was good here, but I had sick kids.  Yesterday was even worse for poor Julia because her fever spiked.  She had one overnight as well, so she is home sick this morning.  She is doing pretty well right now without medicine, so hopefully she will be back at it tomorrow.  Just in time for 3 days of school before spring break, lol.

I also had a sick dh here the past few days.  He has a stomach issue, and I am praying that I don't get it!  I just don't have time to be tossing my cookies in the bathroom!

I did wake up yesterday with some nasty allergies though.  My one eye was completely sealed shut.  When I got it all cleaned up, it is all red and nasty looking.  I had the same exact experience this morning as well.  I hate when my eyes do this.  People glare at me like I am out spreading pink eye.  :(

I have gotten the kitchen cleaned up after breakfast, dropped JJ at school, cleaned his bedroom, and even hemmed a new pair of work pants for dh. Now that I am caught up on here, I am going to go figure out lunch and dinner for today. Have a blessed day ladies!

So I had to take both boys in to the Dr.

Robert for his 12 yr wellness appt and Tetnus Booster.  They also tested him for cholesterol (never knew they tested this early) but yes his LPL was a little high.  We already eat low fat or fat free everything.  I started him eating a serving of almonds daily.  But the only meal that is potentially bad is the school lunch so we had to discuss his choices.  (District is pretty anal about serving healthy options ie. NO fried foods)

William failed 2 hearing tests at school then failed the one at the Dr's office.  Dr said its probably allergies so try Zyrtek for awhile.  Someone mentioned taking him to a chiropractor but my insurance does't cover them.  And where I am from chiropractors were half a step above quacks, so though things have changed in the last 25 years I still have a hard time trusting them.  Hopefully the Zyrtek works and I won't have to worry about it.

I still can't think of chiropractors as a good option, either, so you're not alone. I hope both boys show improvement soon!
