I was going to catch up late last night after someone had already won, then ended up doing a lot of things off the computer. Just before Earth Hour started, I realised it was just lights out, not lights and computers; however, since I'd already planned not to be at my laptop, I just went with it. I did end up using the desktop a little to look up commentary of Isaiah 6 for Bible study prep, but otherwise I was actually offline. Weird! ;) ;)
Hubby was going to take a quick trip to our hometown yesterday, but when Ben saw him getting ready to leave, he said he wanted to go. Then he talked about all of us going. I put away the lunch I was planning to make and we had a spontaneous family trip! Hubby might have been home in less than 90 minutes on his own, and instead we got back 3 hours later. Lots of fun, though!
We had breakfast for dinner, then Hubby got ready for his gaming night. It was raining when he left, but I decided to take the boys out anyway. They splashed in puddles around the edges of the yard, got really wet and then came inside for bathtime!
After the boys were in bed, I finished a letter by candlelight, did the Bible study pages for Tuesday and otherwise used up the evening. Even sorted the laundry!
We should start thinking about what to do on our anniversary on the 22nd. Maybe a movie while the boys are at one set of grandparents? We might even do lunch first!
We got to church today, then after lunch I bought the Easter goodies while the boys stayed home with Hubby. After Ben's nap, I started chicken in the oven and we watched the latest Chipmunk movie. It was actually funnier than I expected, and of course the boys loved it. We still haven't seen the other movies, but I don't think they'll mind seeing them out of order.
The boys went outside with Hubby for a little bit after supper. He did some repairs on the gate before it started raining again. Meanwhile the boys were running around the backyard. :) I was inside finishing the dishes and starting strawberry muffins!
Dh's birthday is on Thursday. I am taking him and some of his family out to dinner at The Outback tonight. It's his favorite restaurant. I also ordered him a canoli cake. I ordered and paid for it last week, and am having bil pick it up for me. Don't want dh knowing what bakery I went to because he'll know what he is getting. ;)

Happy April everyone!
Anything truly exciting planned this month?
Robert turns 11 near the end of the month, we are planning to have his first sleepover for it.
