Hi Everyone,
I know there is a great group of "regulars" here ( arhawg, windspirit82, leonacameron, at_joy, zions_daughter, your awesome CL's, and many more!) and I want to make sure each and every one of you are able to log in and post like normally.
So please update me here on your specific issues and if you're not able to even post, trying PM'ing me or email: policy@mail.ivillage.com. You can also check here for updates:

I know things are frustrating right now but I PROMISE, it's just temporary. Our tech team is working like crazy to get all the kinks ironed out for us.

okay same as everyone else...
I just went to do the most recent post trick and this is what I get after hitting save
I also see in the preview box my siggy (not in the threads but editting preferences) but it is only the rotating one and none of the blinkies or lilypad stuff. but I don't see the siggy in the threads.
and I know it is "paying" for IV but i do not enjoy the ads popping up in the middle of my screen everytime I refresh

That's really interesting about the landscape mode as a temporary work-around! I wonder if it's related to this somehow?

I miss the "thread memory" function too (where it remembers where you left off reading in a thread). It's something that in time our tech team can build back in but it's just not as high of a priority as other issues right now, such as some members still not being able to log in.
I have a small workaround option for this - it's not quite a good but it helps some. Under the original post but before the first reply you'll see "thread options". You can select newest to oldest and it will temporarily show you the newest replies in the thread first. It's temporary b/c once you leave the thread and come back to it, it reverts back to its' default setting- oldest to newest. It's not quite as good as thread memory b/c the newest reply might not be the newest reply that you've read but it does help avoid going through pages of older, longer threads.
Arhawg- the "inability to save preferences" bug is definitely on the list. The character limit for signatures is definitely going away. And good news on the pop-up ads: we've passed along our members' feedback and the number of pop up ads will be decreasing soon!

I tried going into my preferences this morning to do the trick you told us about. Today, I can not get in there with IE, Chrome, or FF. I'm hoping it is being worked on, and that is why I can't get in at all.
Also, woohoo to getting less popups soon. I'm going batty with these things popping up! :)
