Christmas Season Ideas Thread!!!

It's almost Christmas time and there must be a zillion ideas out there for fun projects to do with kiddos and neat homemade gift ideas :) So I thought it would be fun to have a thread where we can post recipes, ideas, links to projects, etc. Also feel free to include awesome deals (the photobook sites often have great specials this time of year) or anything else that might be useful during this great season!

I'm interested in homemade decorations this year but so far haven't gotten very complicated.
Paper garland for various rooms, haven't started them yet since I need staple refills.
Paper snowflakes for the windows, need to check out more instructions since I have basic snowflakes done so far, would like to learn to do more with the paper. I also don't recommend construction paper since it's a bit thick, though the variety in colour is nice. :)
