Let's give LTP a try--if the thread gets long, we'll just go into part 2 and then 3 and so on :) And the winner of LTP for this month is also LTP for 2012! So lets get to chatting!

Well, tae kwon do went well. Elijah passed his test even though the teacher tested on harder stuff than what I expected. Elijah tried breaking the thick board but the poor guy got so psyched out and didn't hit the board as hard as he would hit his teacher on the practice hits. The teacher did bring a junior board so lijah got to do his elbow break. The funniest part was that he almost exclaimed "that was too easy" after breaking the thin board. I hope that the little guy can get the thick board on his next test :)

Lindy, I can see the pics in Firefox, but in Linux I also appear to be accessing the mobile site. Weird! I like the New indicator. I'm also hoping the thread will keep taking me to the new posts. :) Hooray for the good test results! :)

Forgot to do that Windows test last night, but I notice today that Chrome and Firefox both send me to the mobile site when I'm in Windows. (Explorer is the only one not thinking my machine is a phone or tablet.) I think it's just my siggy pics that aren't showing at this point 'cause I can see images I've posted and at least one other siggy. Computers are strange things!

Just finishing up the newer Miracle on 34th Street while Ben makes a mess with Play-Doh. (Tim promised him some for his birthday and then Hubby's bro sent more, so Ben's a little obsessed for now.) I was going to take the kid to playgroup, but he was having so much fun at home and I've been in a slow mood today. Got a small bit of cleaning done and indulged in a little Charlie Brown Christmas before this movie. Hopefully we'll walk to the post office in a bit - without any protest on Ben's part!

This is going to be a crazy weekend!  Today I am taking Julia to a birthday party.  I thought she was also going to a Christmas party with dh's grandpa today.  But, he told us the wrong date, and it is actually tomorrow.  It is causing some time issues, but they are both so excited I can't tell them no now.  So she is going to that party, then dh is going to pick her up and get her home.  Then she needs to quickly get dressed in jammies so we can get to the Polar Express ride.  She is going to miss the Christmas get together and gift exchange with our friends, but there is no other time we can do it.  :(

Lindy, I watched the original Miracle movie here and there growing up, but it was usually the (funny) colorised version. I think there was something about Natalie Wood's family not wanting it on TV every Christmas so the original wasn't aired? Would have to double-check the reason, though. Anyway, I don't think the newer one is quite as good, but it does have its charms, including the oh-so-cute Mara Wilson. AND I didn't remember that Santa uses sign language in the new one, rather than the Dutch scene from the original. That was cool to see this time around after learning some signing.
