Let's give LTP a try--if the thread gets long, we'll just go into part 2 and then 3 and so on :) And the winner of LTP for this month is also LTP for 2012! So lets get to chatting!

My caffeine is failing me today. Either this flavour of tea has less caffeine than my regular stuff or I just need more today. We did stay up late watching a movie via Netflix. (Never Back Down, almost like another Karate Kid remake. It was fairly good.)

Ben was into Play-Doh this morning (since Tim promised him new stuff for his birthday and he's now obsessed with it) and now he's busy colouring. I've been back and forth between cleaning and computer today, nice pace for the day.

I need to finish my Christmas letter today so that's off the list of things to accomplish this week. Then I should do some more paper snowflakes, finish off the living room windows with those. I haven't done paper chains either. We don't have a tree just yet, so I'm not really feeling behind with decorating. ;) Will have to ask Hubby if he wants us to grab one on Thursday from the Rotary lot or if he'd like to take the boys to cut down a fresh one. Might need a permit for that...

We had a power outage last night that prevented us from starting our movie at the planned time. We finished our evening snacks by candelight and ended up having a discussion about the timing of a third babe. It appears to be mutual that we're content to wait a couple more years. We'd likely do some work on this house if it were to happen earlier or if we thought that the mortgage on a bigger place isn't affordable without my going back to work. I say we need more telecommuting jobs available in this day and age! ;)

Darcy - I know that there are other people out there having trouble posting now too. They have said that is the top priority right now. :)

I'm having a bit of stress this week.  I told the lady that runs the nursery last month that I can not be scheduled in there on the 16th, because I am helping bask stage for the kid's Christmas play.  She told me the nursery isn't even open.  Not only is it open, I am scheduled!  She refuses to cover me because she has kids in the play, the other girl I asked wants to watch it, and the next lady is the other back stage helper.  I refuse to call everybody else because of the situation with them refusing to care for JJ.  The lady of the nursery refuses to help figure out what to do.  When I asked if the other adult and two youth helpers would be able to handle it, she responded with, "I guess you can try that."  It's not my nursery, or my responsibility.  So maybe she should be trying to figure out what to do.  AAHHH!

Sorry to rant, but all the drama in that nursery lately is really starting to drive me nuts.

Cindy-that's crazy about the nursery issue! I understand that she might have a conflict also with the play but that's insane that she's leaving it on you to figure out. Is there anyone that you can talk to about it? Or does she have an email addy where you can maybe say something like "i have tried finding someone to fill the spot in the nursery but since I was told that it would be closed and since i asked you to not schedule me that week, I'm unable to be in there" Not those exact words but basically something that shows she gave wrong info and disregarded your request and now it should be on the leader to solve the problem Becca-your candlelight now sounds fun and hooray for the power coming back so you could still have the movie. I'm so behind on Christmas crafts/decorating/prep that it's stressing me out a little, especially since I can't find the awesome manger that dh's mom made us several years ago Darcy-hooray for the quilt and for another date already set for working on it. And double hooray for such a sweet dh. Grrr to posting issues--i hope that it gets worked out quickly so we can be back to our fun and chatty selves with pretty sigs and the ability to customize settings
