Let's give LTP a try--if the thread gets long, we'll just go into part 2 and then 3 and so on :) And the winner of LTP for this month is also LTP for 2012! So lets get to chatting!

CIndy, that seems like a silly guideline for preschoolers, but I'm glad there's a couch handy. Praying all works out, and it will definitely be nice for you to have that length of time for housekeeping and all the volunteering you do. :)

I'm glad to hear you're getting a babysitting break. I've been concerned that you had too much on your plate, so even though this means you're not getting the extra income, you'll have less stress and more time.

Hooray for time to clean and then get to the library! Yippee for the special drink, too. :)

No tutoring this week because of the planning for the funeral. We were going to be working on the church directory, anyway, and now we have to take one name out before the printing is done. No hurry on that part of it...

Ben's whiny today and I've been experiencing a sore throat, plus I'm colder than usual. Looks like another cold coming in. Oy. I'll deliver the food for the funeral to the pastor's house tomorrow night and probably conserve energy, though one of the adults still needs to get out for toys and stocking stuffers... Right now we're watching Christmas shows to relax. Only getting happy sounds from Ben now. ;)

Somehow I went through all of the dish towels since the last load of laundry, so hopefully we can make do until the dryer's done in an hour or so. Some of our dishcloths are kinda large and could be used for drying if necessary. Here I thought we had too many cloths and towels for a family of four, but apparently not!

Only two windows with no paper snowflakes now - did some yesterday afternoon, so it's just the master bedroom and the laundry room without. Even though I couldn't reproduce many fancy-looking snowflakes with construction paper - too thick - I think the windows look festive and fun. It should be lots of fun when the boys can (and want to) help.

I guess this weekend we should decide about a tree, either going to chop one down ourselves in the next week or seeing if the Rotary lot has decent ones left right now. I like the idea of establishing a tradition (in a future year if not this one) of hunting down our own since we live in such a mountainous region.

While Ben's busy watching the Grinch, I should get in the kitchen to make some grilled cheese sandwiches. If I get started on food before he's hungry, I can actually make something that takes several minutes - otherwise, he wants food that's ready immediately and has to settle for cold stuff. I guess he never got over loving the ready-to-serve factor of Mum's milk. ;) ;)

Cindy, that is crazy!  Here they have to give them an hour nap.  I would read up on the regulations (should be online).  Glad the nursery thing is sorted out and yeah for a babysitting break!

Lindy, glad that surgery went well!  Hoping that you are back to new now!

Becca, you have been busy!

This week has been busy with usual stuff.  I need to finish off the grandparents gifts and wrap those this weekend.  That includes sorting pictures for them as well.  I also have a couple gifts still to get.  I think I have decided to make x a small blanket as one of his gifts.  Maybe I can do that Sunday afternoon.  The boys and I are going shopping with MIL and nanny tomorrow.  We are having our friends over for homemade pizza on Saturday and we have a life group lunch after church on Sunday.  Then it is operation pack for vacation next week!  (with school on wed and thurs.) the boys have haircuts thursday afternoon too.  guess that is all for now...hoping I can get back on later!  it just says it is continually loading...

Darcy, I think you're quite a bit more busy than I am! Or I just feel more tired getting the normal things done because of the recent colds and now another one announcing its arrival (with AF also due this weekend).

Have a fun week ahead! Hope the board treats you well next time you visit!

Yikes, it's a good thing Christmas is only once a year it cost me $85 to ship 3 smallish boxes of Christmas gifts to Canada today.
