Let's give LTP a try--if the thread gets long, we'll just go into part 2 and then 3 and so on :) And the winner of LTP for this month is also LTP for 2012! So lets get to chatting!

I don't remember if I mentioned taking the change table out of the boys' closet, where it had been used as shelving. It had gotten messy and I suspected that I would have more room and be able to organise a bit better if I removed it. I thought about selling it for a few bucks, old as it is (having been passed down through sisters) and then I thought of asking the pastor's wife if the church had room for it. Turns out they're rearranging things downstairs and making an actual nursery again instead of just a toddler toy room. So, they were planning on buying a used table. Now when it's convenient for someone to pick it up in a truck, they can have mine for free! (I'll only charge the church for web maintenance services, and that hasn't been discussed again since I took the job. I'm not about to demand money from them, would rather look at it as tithing/offering of my time!)

Yesterday was a combined garbage and recycling pick-up day. I'd missed the last garbage day two weeks ago, so that was a priority before breakfast yesterday. Turns out the truck came a couple hours later, but at least I was ready. ;) I also put out two bags of paper to recycle. I'll flatten cardboard and get glass and plastic assembled another time - we have recycling bins behind our grocery store, so the curb pick-up is just a matter of convenience most of the time. This week I wasn't ready beyond the paper (at least half of which was wrapping paper) so I'll go with the "in my own time" option. :)

Just a little dusting of snow here overnight (same as the night before). The roads were great yesterday for a bit of a road trip to find a Boxing Day/Week bargain at a Wal-Mart farther away - the ILs found a BluRay player on sale that has WiFi while they were in that town to visit MIL's sister, and we thought we'd check it out too. Now we'll likely use the player for DVDs, Netflix, YouTube (on a much bigger screen) and even downloaded videos via flash drive. :) I even left a message for Sis #1 before we came home 'cause she doesn't have the right hardware to get Netflix to her TV, and her free month trial is winding down...

Hee hee to the hiding higher-ups. I just went back to Lisa's update thread from Oct. 22nd and saw this email address: policy@mail.ivillage.com Maybe it's worth a try?

Do you have the email addys? I am getting seriously grumpy at how long these changes/fixes are taking and I'm almost suspecting that the team boards aren't working because they are just hiding from us :p

My extra kids are supposed to be here any time now.  I have a feeling they will be late.  I don't know how they are going to get up my driveway. There is a wall about 4 feet high at the end of my driveway, and the driveway itself must have 2 feet of snow.  Oh well, I can't be expected to do that much snow removal before coffee.  ;)

Christmas was very nice here.  We had just the right amount of snow to make it look pretty.  This morning is another story!  We have a ton out there.  I already went out and shoveled an area so the poor dogs could get outide to go potty.  The snow was as high as my smaller dog.  Surprised

I've been up and down lately as far as health goes, not always enough energy to get things done. Frustrating! Before AF came last weekend, I thought I was getting a cold, then it seemed to go away. After AF, I had a couple days of migraine and now a cold or flu is here. Ugh. However, that's not going to steal my joy about the holiday. The boys are excited, Hubby's (mostly) off work for a week and I'm still celebrating Jesus' birth no matter what's happening with my stuffy head and upset stomach. ;)
