Let's give LTP a try--if the thread gets long, we'll just go into part 2 and then 3 and so on :) And the winner of LTP for this month is also LTP for 2012! So lets get to chatting!

Ok that is a strange keyboard. I have a hard enough time finding the extra characters when I know which area they are supposed to be in. lol

Howdy all.  I haven't been able to get on with Chrome...so I tried IE and that was a no go.  I am on safari right now and it is getting me this far!  I can't catch up on everything I have missed the last week or so.  I have been busy busy and am going to get the car all packed for our trip!  We leave in the morning.  I know there are things we get tonight that will need packed too but I qwill throw those in tonight.  I also need to get a bag of ice today for the cooler.  The boys opened their presents from us and each other last night and so they are happily entertained.  I need to go and see if it is still too cold to put the bag on the top of the car or if I can do it without freezing to death...hoping to be able to check in again now!  IT HAS BEEN AWFUL not chatting with you all!

Our tree is up and decorated! Hooray! It was fun and Tim was really good at it, so it went pretty fast. (Plus it's a smallish tree so there isn't a lot of space to cover with the plainer things.) Ben kept asking for help - I think he just wanted to pick the ornament and where it should go, then leave the rest to us. ;)

Leona,

An image of the keyboard layout: http://cdn.overclock.net/b/bd/bd8d1755_Canadian20French.png

And proof I'm not the only one who doesn't like it. LOL http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/small-business/french-keyboards-frustrate-computer-buyers/article544374/

William had his Polar Express/PJ day on Monday.  He loved wearing jammies to school.  The school doesn't allow home baked food for class parties :P   Oh well their loss.  The teachers got home baked goodies for their Christmas present.

I have a headache and mildly upset stomach. Boo. I took some Advil and had an extra bit of food in case lunch was too small after the workout. Hoping that evens out my system. I still have supper to make and "soynog" to purchase at our local grocery store. Might be decorating tonight if Hubby's not too tired after his after-work squash game.

After lunch and dishwashing, I baked the candy cane cookies I'd started yesterday. Next time I think the dough should be used within a few hours - it didn't seem to roll smoothly, maybe shouldn't have been in the fridge overnight. They still look like candy canes, though, and should taste fine. :)
