Let's give LTP a try--if the thread gets long, we'll just go into part 2 and then 3 and so on :) And the winner of LTP for this month is also LTP for 2012! So lets get to chatting!

Lots of snow overnight, so after tutoring Ben and I were outside getting our fresh air quota. ;) I ran out of energy before the last bit, the less-used front door, steps and short path to the gate. Will do that after snacktime, I think.

I had time for a shower and some quick kitchen clean-up (clean air-dried dishes away in the cupboard, that is) before tutoring. We finished up the church directory. I felt a big accomplishment with that, us both working with tables in Word when I haven't used them much. And I managed the typing for her today, despite her silly Canadian keyboard layout. (I prefer the US one, so that was why I went with Dell for my laptop!)

I woke up late and had to wake up Hubby, but I did manage to get Tim off to school in time. When we came back, I brought the old change table in from the shed so the pastor's wife could see it when she came for tutoring. They're changing up the rooms downstairs in the church, so there'll be a proper nursery again and then two Sunday school classrooms for the older kids. I was just using the table as shelving in the boys' closet until I decided it might be making me less organised instead of more...

Cindy, I'm sorry you're feeling so yucky! I hope Julia enjoys her day at school and the activities afterward.

There's still email for the fussing/pestering. ;)

Maybe mine has been taking me to the end too but I preferred that to what it was doing. If i did quick reply, it would take me to the very beginning of the thread and changes my 50 posts per page back to 10 per page. So keeping it at 50 and plopping me back at the end was an improvement. I really hope that they iron out these wrinkles soon, esp since there's no way to fuss at them with the team boards gone *grumble grumble*

Today is Julia's Polar Express party at school.  I made train cookies yesterday.  (Don't worry, no germ spreading.  I washed my entire arms just like a surgeon before making them.)  I also bought some cheese chex mix for them to nibble on.  She gets to wear her pajamas to school today.  She is excited.  Then after school dh is taking her to see Santa and to go Christmas shopping for me.

I seriously would like to curl in my bed and sleep all day today.  I have felt horrible for 3 days.  I'm positive it is the flu.  Luckily, I had my shot so it isn't as bad as it would be.  Our country is #1 in the state with the number of flu cases right now.  :(  I think the worst part is that I have a hacking cough, and I am so congested that I can't get a full breath.  So when I am coughing, I can barely breathe.  Tons of fun over here.

Thanks for the recipe Leona! I've always wanted to make that. I saved it in my recipes.
