My name is Lindy and I've been married 8.5 years to Jeremy.  We have 2 kiddos--Elijah (7) and Arabella Grace/Peanut (5) and we homeschool and I also work part time in a library.  My bizarre schedule ate most of my energy/motivation/computer time but I suddenly have a real life back and will be able to post much more ;)

My favorite things about the Christmas season are the lights and decorations and seeing how excited everything makes my kiddos.  This year I'm looking forward to doing more advent activities with the kids/fam and I'm loving being part of a great Bible study :)

Becca here, married 12 years to Brad. We raise Tim (5) and Ben (so-close-to-3 ;) ) plus a dog (almost 7) and a cat (1). (Seriously, pets are like kids who never grow up!) We live in Western Canada, where our weather is currently swinging back and forth between rain and snow. We usually have a white Christmas, though, so I don't mind some milder weather now.

My favourite things about Christmas: decorations that come with good memories, watching the kids' excitement about the holiday (including multiple Advent calendars), Christmas parties and family gatherings. Christmas dinner is good, but takes a back seat to the rest. ;)

Cindy here, and I have been married to my dh, Jason, for 10 years.  (WOW, doesn't seem like that long.)  I am a sahm to our two kids, Julia (5) and Jason Jr "JJ" (3).  Since Becca is correct, and furbabies are like children, I will list them ;).  I have two Miniature Pinschers named CJ and Austin.  Then we have three cats named Toby, Jeter, and Callie.  Julia also has a goldfish named Tails and an algae eater named Sonic.

I have so many favorite things about Christmas.  I love all the fun family traditions like making cookies, going on the Polar Express ride, and decorating the house.  I am also happy to be in an Advent Bible study this year so I can focus more on Jesus.  It is an exciting time of year for sure!

Howdy! I am Darcy. My dh Scott and I have been married almost 5 years (January). We have X (Xander) who is 3.5 and x (Xavier) who is almost 1.5. We have two fish but they aren't named...and yep we are awful and forget about them most of the time! What I love about Christmas is my kids! I LOVE everything especially being with family and friends. We had our first family potluck here last night with all of dh/fil's side of the family. It was great and plan on doing it again! On the 15th we will have a couple friends from church and their families over. I am super excited that I can relax for the month since my house is now clean and decorated! oh and we are going to the beach!!!

I'm glad you're getting back computer time, Lindy. I hope you'll have lots of energy this month for all the family activities!

Cindy, I also have a hard time believing our marriage is a decade old. Why does time pass so much faster as an adult? ;)

Darcy, glad the entertaining went well. My parents or sisters always end up with that duty now. Guess no one wants to cram into my small house. ;)

I think the kids' excitement is becoming one of the big joys of Christmas for me, and now that I'm learning more about Advent itself, that's making Christmas less commercial and stressful for me.

Hello hello! I'm Ashley (27) married to DH (Mark...28) for 7 years as of October. We are the proud parents to Evangelina (5), Casey (3), and Harper (1.5). I am a SAHM and love it! When Harper is in Kindergarten I will then find employment out of the home....which I find exciting and scary at the same time. I LOVE Christmas. I think I have more excitement for the Holiday than the kids do. I love the music (which I start playing in October), the decorations, the foods, the giving and receiving, the joy! I just love it all! I even LOVE snow!!!!!
