I hope that tonight goes well for you at the womens ministry meeting.

tonight is a late night for dh.  he won't be home till 615 or so.  I am not sure what is for dinner tonight...haven't even looked at the calendar to see what is supposed to be.

tomorrow I need to get house cleaned up and do diapers.  I also need to go through the boys closet and see what is too small and what we will need and I really need to put up what I don't put on them.  Also need to make sure to have stuff out for our trip in a couple weeks.

Cindy - I hope you had plenty of energy for the running-around day. How did the snowmen work out? Sounds like fun!

Did your husband manage to grab your library hold for you? I'm usually "chomping at the bit" to get to the library once I get a call, not good at waiting! (Hence the reason I'll drive into the city for some books rather than wait for them to be mailed to my branch.)

Hooray for the ladies' group meeting on an extra day. Hope it's great, don't let the shyness keep you from getting to know those special gals!

Darcy - Is Xavier feeling any better? Nice for him to get to nap at home, and I hope he didn't mind the car ride to get Xander from school.

One of these weeks I should check our spare clothes in the closet. Supposed to be the next season and maybe a few of the larger size if we have any - we may have a big gap between this age and the first bags of clothes from Sis #2 in the past year or so. (And we're too far away to get many clothes from the cousins on Hubby's side who are closer in age.)

Ben loves to interpret things as funny when I'm being very serious. I snapped this afternoon when I should have kept my cool and talked it over with him when he was actually listening to me. Poor kid having a mother who's level-headed most of the time but has something in common with the Jekyll and Hyde story. I'd appreciate my gals joining me in prayer to deal with my anger, not just keep a lid on it and pretend it's not really there.

Hubby's new camera came while Ben and I were having an early lunch. He actually drove home from work to open the package, take a quick look and drive back with it so he can charge the battery while he's still working. I'm thinking he might be a little distracted for TV watching tonight. Maybe I can get some reading done instead. ;)

My friend Angie texted me and asked if I wanted to go walking.  I packed up and woke x up (he had been asleep almost two hours) and we went and walked a little bit.  I might go tomorrow by myself with the kids and walk and keep track on how much I get in.  I don't think that my app is working right.

We are home and it is raining outside.  I was able to get some wood up to the porch before I left and it started raining.  we haven't had fires during the day this week...just at night.

Praying for you and your anger...I can lash out at the kids too...it really upsets my very tenderhearted X.

Becca - Dr Oz had his show about anger yesterday.  I didn't get to really pay attention but it might be worth trying to find it and watching it.

We will be heading to the dr today.  Xavier woke in the middle of the night running fever.  it goes back and forth but it did hit 102.5 at one point.  He has an awful cough and now his nose is pouring.  He also moaned in his sleep ouch and mama alot last night.  something hurts and isn't right...sounds like the flu going around here ;(  pray that if it is that the dr understands that dh is immunosupressed and that we are going on vacation in less than two weeks and gives us all tamiflu.  thanks!

Sorry that I hadn't been over here to post yet this month--i lurked once the new thread was posted but i've been mostly reading when on my tablet since typing is hard and ivillage isn't easy to load on my work computer. I woke up to a few inches of snow today--ugh--even though the weather only called for rain. This is the third snow that we've gotten on thursday night/friday morning out of the past 4 weeks i think. I am sooo ready for spring!

Leona-that's so exciting about your black belt! What an awesome achievement!

Cindy-I hope that the ministry meeting went well.  It sounds cool that it'll be the people that you volunteer with on wednesdays and i hope that you're able to get to know some people even better :)

Becca-I'm sorry that you're having anger issues with the kiddos.  I will pray that God is able to help you with it from the inside out.  I know that i'm way guilty of anger and I cringe anytime i fuss at the kids and sound like my mom *shudder*

Darcy-ugh to a sick little guy :(  I hope that he feels better soon and that no one else catches his germs

Today is Lego Club at my library branch and I am hoping that the snow doesn't affect the turnout too badly. It's not terribly much but outlying areas don't always get plowed. I'm also hoping that i can make it up our snowy side road to the plowed main road :p
