Hugs! It's such a hard decision to make. I think as moms we will always feel that twinge.

We have made the same decision, but I had kept my maternty clothes "just in case." I found them in the closet the other day, and am finally ready to let them go. I figure, if God decides we will be surprised with another blessing, He will provide the means to clothe me :)

Awww...i know what you mean about being sure that you are done having more kids but still sad about giving away your maternity clothes since that's such a big step. Hubby and i are not planning any more kids but there are times when i get a little sad and wish i could be preggo one more time. But i am so glad that you were able to be such a blessing to someone else with the clothes--that had to mean a lot to her (((((hugs)))))

I didn't keep mine for long after Ben's arrival because we'd already made the decision that we'd stick to two kiddos - and then I felt that my body had been through enough even though both pregnancies were good ones.

I also believe that if God blesses us with another wonderful soul to love that we'll make it financially.

I didn't want to part with our mobile. It has bright-coloured bug toys and seemed just perfect for the boys. I think I also kept the Paddington bears from our spare mobile - we actually swapped parts of the two since the music worked on one and the toys were cuter on the other (but I'm a Paddington fan from way back).

I will admit, Julia's pink bunny mobile is hanging in our garage. And believe it or not, dh is the one that hang it up out there :)

What a blessing you were to that lady and her family. :)

I know that when the time comes for us to make a permanent decision I will also be sad since DH wants Harper to be our last and I just want one more. It will be nice to be done with this phase, but it will be sad as well. I will be praying for you to have complete peace with your decision.
