Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Happy Irish Day! ;) Hope you had a good one, too.

I didn't think of making any special food in honour of the day, but the boys were given sips of a shamrock shake on Thursday and I'm thinking I should find some mint flavouring for future homemade shakes or maybe some mint hot chocolate!

I did have the boys wear green shirts. Next year I should have crafts or a story relating to the day and can introduce them to part of our heritage. (I think Hubby has Irish on his side. I know I do on mine!)

Hubby and I are watching "The Quiet Man," a movie set in Ireland. A good way to wind down our low-key day and also get in a little "old movie" time. He likes John Wayne movies and I'm a big fan of Maureen O'Hara, so this one is for both of us. ;) ;)
