We don't really know if he ever repented.....we might be surprised as to who we see up in Heaven. ;) The Bible says to call upon the name of the Lord and you'll be saved....so we'll see if he did that or not at the final second of his life when we get to Heaven.

And I don't know what I believe in this entire thing. The media willl just tell you what they want you to believe and I am not 100% comfortable doing that. I heard that his sister had died a week ago and they used her brain for dna matching to match his dna yesterday. Many different stories.

I'm am thankful to hear that security is beefed up and pray that there is no retaliation for his death. I hope this marks the beginning of the end of terrorism from the Al Qaeda.

I am thankful that we have such wonderful military personnel who keep us safe every day.

I'll admit that when I first heard the news, I felt a swell of emotion and patriotism. I got onto FB and made a couple of posts praising our military, as well as acknowledging the efforts of former Pres. Bush and what he and his administration did to get the ball rolling on defeating terrorism. To be brutally honest, I was disappointed that this came on Obama's watch, because I don't want him to be re-elected (sorry Cindy).

I had to stay away from FB for a bit there because of the bickering. It was either rude/crude excitement over his death or people whining that it was so violent to kill him. Lots of quotes about loving our enemy, not exacting revenge, etc....

I'm in the middle. I don't take joy in the passing of the wicked. It's terribly sad to think of anyone eternally separated from God, taking on the punishment for their own sin when they didn't have to. But I don't think his death was unfair or necessarily wrong. I feel that it's far more loving to stop the murdering he committed & planned to continue whenever he had the chance. I also feel that he chose his course, to hate & attack our country knowing the consequences. Just like God isn't to blame for an unrepentant sinner going to hell, the military isn't to blame for having to enforce order & catch the bad guys.

So am I solemn over his death, support the military and continue to pray for his followers still out there.
