New month so I'm starting a new thread....

Happy belated birthday to Lijah and Peanut! I missed those two. Sorry about that.

Anyway, went fishing on the river today and turned myself into a lobster. My chest has never been burnt like this before. Ugh...at least it doesn't hurt yet. :smileywink: I need to get caught up on some laundry tonight and try to get some good sleep. Sleep isn't my friend lately....it is avoiding me. But I should probably get my butt off the computer right now and fold this basket of towels.

Chat with you all probably on Monday.

We will have popcorn for dessert tomorrow night. Oh wait! I just remembered that we're going to go to church tomorrow night. Perhaps DH will want to stay home with kiddos....we'll see.

So, we had a busy night. Ate chili and cornbread for supper. Then we went to pick up a free power wheels jeep. After that DH and I went with the kids to church to set up the drum set and to practice our song for the variety show. When we got home we got everybody ready for bed and Eva had a complete melt down accusing me of being mean to her because she wouldn't find a pair of jammies to wear. UGH! It was not fun. Hopefully she gets very rested up and sleeps in a little bit tomorrow morning before we have to bring her to school. After bed I washed dishes and swept the kitchen. Now I should go take a shower to relax my body since I drank my sleepy-time tea already. I will then either crochet or go lay in bed to read my book.

The only thing bad about Zulily is it takes forever to get the order. They wait until the sale period is over then they order it all at once, then when they get it they send it on to you. Never order from them if it is time sensitive. They really do have good deals though.

Yay for ice cream bars! We still have a few fudgesicles in the freezer, should eat those up before they get freezer burned... They're 80-cal ones.

Only trouble is not everyone can have them because of the milk issue. Ice cream cones are nice that way because two of us have regular ice cream and two have lactose-free! We also have the choice of large or mini cones.

I think we'll bring a small bag of chips to the outdoor movie tomorrow, for a special treat that doesn't leave me with bits of popcorn in my teeth. :smileywink:

Tis true, that temptation would occur to me as well.

I've had the same complaint from Tim when I made him get dressed at the "wrong" time or asked him to wear an alternative when his choice was in the wash. Oy.

Tim had a late start to school today. Looks like each class was broken into smaller groups for the first week, then the teachers will have all students next week (with two more short days and then full-day on Wednesday!).

Before it was time to go, we sorted recyclables, read the two Thomas magazines and did the workbook activities together, then had snack and washed the kitchen floor. It takes a bit longer with Tim helping. :smileywink:
