New month so I'm starting a new thread....

Happy belated birthday to Lijah and Peanut! I missed those two. Sorry about that.

Anyway, went fishing on the river today and turned myself into a lobster. My chest has never been burnt like this before. Ugh...at least it doesn't hurt yet. :smileywink: I need to get caught up on some laundry tonight and try to get some good sleep. Sleep isn't my friend lately....it is avoiding me. But I should probably get my butt off the computer right now and fold this basket of towels.

Ben and I walked to the post office once Tim was safely delivered to his teacher :smileywink: and then came up on the side of the school that has the classroom for playgroup. There were lots of people there when I wasn't even sure it would start this week. Ben got about 45 mins of play, so we could have a little time at home before Tim was done.

We had a later lunch than usual but the boys didn't dawdle, and dishes were soon done. Ben was upset he didn't earn a treat for drying dishes (he had said no to the chore but Tim helped) so he headed off to the bathroom on his own for a pee break. Hee hee, good way to earn treats from the mother. :smileywink:

I had forgotten to clean the microwave yesterday, but my lunch splattered the nuker. Somehow that struck me as funny that I planned yet again to clean it and now didn't have much choice. :smileywink: Also wiped out the oven and gave the fridge a quick clean-up while I was at it. My kitchen is happy. :smileyhappy:

Neither boy ended up napping despite seeming tired, but I did get time on my own and that was nice. I chose to spend it on an afternoon shower and then exercising/reading. Must remember to do a slow-down walk since I'm finding I get "sea legs" when I'm done my workout time.

After snacking again (yep, we do that a lot!) I prepared supper, which turned out excellent!

Hubby has been playing his video game for most of the time since he got home, and I should have been reading for some of that time! I did get photos of the boys uploaded (http://beccacarter.com/gallery) so that was productive and fun. :smileyhappy:

Tomorrow I have a parent-teacher meeting early and then will likely take care of some errands/shopping with the boys. (No school for Tim this first Friday.)

No plans for the afternoon, but I'll try to get the boys to nap so they can stay up late for an outdoor movie event ("The Lorax").

I think they do a lot of work with crayons in her school. I am more then willing to send in all the crayons they need. Her school really is awesome. It is a smaller school, and everybody knows everybody. I'm excited about the school year. Her class has 20 kids in it. The principal said this is the largest kindergarten class they have ever had.

Awww, that sounds cute. I would love cute shaped pancakes. But all the pans I find are so expensive.

JJ had a great time yesterday. He had fun in his new classroom, and really enjoyed playing at Rough and Tumble.
