New month so I'm starting a new thread....

Happy belated birthday to Lijah and Peanut! I missed those two. Sorry about that.

Anyway, went fishing on the river today and turned myself into a lobster. My chest has never been burnt like this before. Ugh...at least it doesn't hurt yet. :smileywink: I need to get caught up on some laundry tonight and try to get some good sleep. Sleep isn't my friend lately....it is avoiding me. But I should probably get my butt off the computer right now and fold this basket of towels.

Chat with you all probably on Monday.

I had to soak my shirt this morning about 1 hour after I put it on. Harper was climbing on a chair (no surprise there) and the chair started to tip on her. She then hit her chin on the chair and bit a nice little gash into her tongue. So, she bled all over my brand new shirt. I had to take it off right away and soak it. Ugh!

Well, I got the garbages together for DH and the recyclables ready for him, too. Then I cleaned our entry way and got the sunroom somewhat clean. I also have laundry going. Busy morning already! I hopefully got the schedule down for the church variety show (since I'm in charge of that), but now I'm waiting on people to get me the names of their songs and poems so that I can get the program made up.

Do any of you use a DivaCup for when AF is visiting? I am using one for the first time this month and I'm having issues with leaking. It seems that I have too many clots for the cup to catch?? It's frustrating. Just looking for some advice on using it correctly since I'm doing everything the instruction book says to do.

I need to get going now on mending some clothes for Eva and DH. I actually just have to make a few items of clothing slimmer for Eva and hem some pants for DH. I have only 1 dress of Eva's that actually needs to be fixed. Time to get busy!

Ooh, smart thinking! I have some extra balloons but usually forget. They were a hit one day when combined with the trampoline. :smileyhappy:

The important part is loving it. If you were tired and unhappy, then you'd need to make changes, but if you like it, then it's just your thing! :smileyhappy:

Loving the idea! Thanks so much for sharing the site. I also just discovered that the logo at the top expands, so you never have to forget what each letter means.

That would definitely be a lot to deal with yourself. I hope your hubby can weigh in on the issue in a discussion with you even if he can't make it to the meeting.

That sounds like you can ease into the week and then ease out of it. :smileyhappy:

I'm not sure yet what will be most crazy around here for days of the week, but I'll try not to overbook social activities for Ben. Since I just learned that preschool and our library reading hour conflict, I have to consider other options to get him some storytime. One includes going to the city library for their reading hour, but add that to local playgroup and preschool, and I'll start getting exhausted and stressed about keeping the house clean. :smileywink: (Mornings are still my most productive for cleaning, too, so cramming them full isn't going to work.)

Here's my tentative schedule in my head: Monday playgroup, which gets him a few stories when the librarian comes to visit; Tuesday preschool; Thursday gym-day playgroup, maybe every other week so the schedule is light.

Thanks to anyone who stuck through all that rambling as I "thought aloud." :smileywink:

A play kitchen would be so fun! That's usually where Ben heads first, or spends the longest time, at playgroup. :smileyhappy:

Hugs to Harper and I'm sorry that happened with a new shirt! I had to soak another shirt while making dinner, too sloppy with my stirring. Maybe I don't have too many t-shirts after all. :smileywink:
