New month so I'm starting a new thread....

Happy belated birthday to Lijah and Peanut! I missed those two. Sorry about that.

Anyway, went fishing on the river today and turned myself into a lobster. My chest has never been burnt like this before. Ugh...at least it doesn't hurt yet. :smileywink: I need to get caught up on some laundry tonight and try to get some good sleep. Sleep isn't my friend lately....it is avoiding me. But I should probably get my butt off the computer right now and fold this basket of towels.

Chat with you all probably on Monday.

Well, I think I'm going to retire for the night. AF has been horrible to me this month and I think I know why the DivaCup isn't working for me....my cervix is too low or tilted or something. So, the DivaCup irritates it and causes the pain to go from the obvious place to the back and up my entire abdomen. It's not cool! I give up on the DivaCup for this cycle, but I'll try it again next cycle. I really want to love it so I'm going to give it another shot in a month. :smileyhappy:

I've experienced it both ways. Don't know if it's connected to mood or just a cycle like the seasons. :smileywink:

So cool that you can alter outfits as needed. That would be very handy!

Yep. I think it was 100 pages or maybe even closer, 50? Either way, it's hard to stop reading at that point.

I hope tomorrow is smoother, after a good night's sleep and the nap they did eventually get this afternoon. I may skip next year's outdoor movie if I remember the aftermath (and the traffic) and resume it when they're just a bit older.

I think most of the movies they pick are already on DVD at the time of the showing, so that could make it easier - rent or grab a copy ourselves, then set up an earlier showing at home. Could even do an indoor tent, a penny/nickel concession, etc. (Ooh, this has potential for birthday parties and sleepovers!

If I'm remembering correctly, the last movie Hubby and I watched was a Jane Austen-inspired musical, so it seems fitting that our pick tonight is his choice instead. A geeky film: "Gamers: Dorkness Rising." We watched it via Netflix before, probably soon after starting our account. Now we have our own copy. :smileyhappy:

Not sure what I should do while we watch. I don't think I can multi-task by reading, not with this movie. I do have a couple book reviews to write and I could do some word puzzles, maybe. Might even travel over to Windows to look at budget numbers. (I also have a few fun games there...)
