Thanksgiving is coming up a lot faster than I'd like to think about. And my brilliant self scheduled a return flight from CAlifornia on Thanksgiving Day! >_<

However, I think I have a whole lot to be thankful for.

That although we have no $we are very rich indeed. That I'm so in love with my DH. That our daughter is a treasure that we enjoy and that she is healthy. That we are all healthy. Sounds funny but I'm thankful that God has allowed me to go through the rough times so that I am thankful for what I have in regards to relationships, health and material possessions.

There is never a time to not thank God but I'm thankful that we take a day out of the year to really celebrate it. I've heard it said that Thanksgiving is not

Not a religious holiday? I guess they missed the whole puritan connection, thanking God thing.

Yikes to flying on Thanksgiving Day! Although, you might find that the airport isn't as crowded as it would be on the day before or the days right after. But since i've never flown on a holiday, I could be completely wrong on that one!

I'd love to hope that when people are thinking of the things they are thankful for, their minds and hearts would be tender towards God and that those who aren't Christians would at least feel His presence on that special day :)

I am thankful for my family and the house we live in and the wonderful friends that have helped us get through the tough times. I'm also thankful that our car is still working and that we have a new roof on the house so that it doesn't rain on our bed anymore ;) I'm thankful that God has been so faithful to provide what we need, that we're able to homeschool our kids, and and for the time i get to spend with my kiddos and the many hugs and kisses i get everyday :)

Another thing I am thankful for is the many things that we take for granted everyday--running water, a grocery store with stocked shelf, warm clothes in the winter and air conditioning in the summer, the right to worship as we please, and the fast ways to communicate with loved ones, even over long distances :)

Yeah I think a lot of the world wants to remove God from everything. Christmas isn't religious either, it's just a family/whatever you make of it day. But the first thanksgiving was thanking God and it's how we celebrate the day :)

I'm thankful for my family, home, health, work, friends, everything! It's been a good year with lots of surprises. You guys help keep me sane day to day which is no small accomplishment ;)

I am thankful their are still 7 people in our family to celebrate the day with.
I am thankful that God has carried us through the last few years.
I am thankful that we have a home to invite our loved ones to.
I am thankful that God taught me to stop taking things for granted.
I am thankful that He is as caring about the little things as I am.
I am thankful that He has never left us or forgotten us, even when the enemy did his best to make us think God had forgotten us.
I am thankful for a little girl that defies the odds daily by waking up and smiling and interacting with us.
I am thankful that even through everything we have faced, that we still joke, and laugh, and enjoy life. I am so thankful for my friends that are like family that have carried me through the last few years.
I am thankful for phone calls to check on us.
I am thankful for vacations planned in distant cities around medical appointments.
I am thankful for a husband who loves me like Christ loved the church.
I am thankful for children that ooze the love of Christ, you can't help but get that on you when with them.
I am thankful for a landlord who has allowed us to run behind on rent for 2+ years with no qualms and still fixed the leaky toilet and the broken furnace. I am thankful for a vehicle that seats 7 butts and can make a 200 mile trip frequently.
I am thankful for friends all over the country praying for me and my family time and time and time again.
I am thankful for God's blessings, even when my rotten life doesn't deserve them.
I am thankful for Christ shedding his blood for even me.
I am thankful for this little corner of the internet where my faith has been saved and my craziness has been loved!

I will never stop thanking God and you ladies for your love the last few years! Someday I hope to return to each of you a 1/10 of what you have blessed me with!
