Good morning. I just did cooking for a month over the weekend. So, today we are going to enjoy our first freezer meal of chicken packets. YUM! No more cooking until 4 weeks from Thursday.

I've popped in to read all weekend but we had awesome weather on Saturday and spent time outside, then got snow Sunday so we got to play in that on Sunday afternoon and then again this morning. I think it's going to be in the 50s again tomorrow--crazy winter :p

Today we went out with a friend to CiCis for dinner but tomorrow i think i'll make some chili.

And wow to having a month's worth of meals cooked--i hope that it works out really well for you :)

I made BBQ chicken breasts with rice and peas. Not my most exciting meal, but it's always yummy! :)

Tomorrow we should be able to make a trip to one of the grocery stores in the city, to stock up the deep freeze.

I made chicken pasta primavera. Apparently it was not a hit, because Leslie had one bite of it, and DH had a token bowl of it just so I wouldn't feel bad. I liked it, so I guess all the leftovers are mine.

I noticed yesterday that I have all the fixins for chili. I have to make it soon. Do your kids eat it? I have to make macaroni and cheese for my kids on chili night.

Peanut eats it but Elijah still refuses any food that has ingredients all mixed up like that. The good news is that since he won't eat it, we can make it spicy so daddy likes it and peanut loves the spicy food too. Once i made it a little more spicy than i thought and she was eating her bowl with little sweat pouring down her face and fanning her little mouth and when i asked if she wanted more, she nodded and scarfed a second bowl :p
