have fun ladies
Good afternoon ladies!! I am looking forward updates on ultrasounds!!! :o) I am trying to start a new routine, so prayers would be appreciated for that! We get up, eat breakfast, do our Bible study, then my goal is to exercise for at least an hour! Then I get on here and go over prayer requests and pray! LOL Until I can get this printer installed to my computer and can print out the requests, I have to pray at the computer, LOL. And now is lunch time! I would love to be able to get up earlier than anyone else and do my exercises then, but Gabby has a radar or something and I can't get any quiet time in the morning before she wakes up. But my goal is to weigh 135 by next August. :o)
Other than that, my son's attitude with school is so bad. He is so smart but doesn't think he can do this. Such a lie from the devil!!!!
Have a wonderful day and awesome, blessed weekend ladies!!!!
Hey there girls-
Hey, girls! Sorry I have been MIA for the last few days. Things have been busy and I've been feeling bad again (or still, I guess!). On a good note, I got to see my friend Angi and her sweet little baby, Ivy. She is the one I have been asking for prayers for. Ivy still has a feeding tube, but nursed pretty well the other night when I was there. She has tested negative for several of the common forms of dwarfism, so they are unsure what kind she has at this point. She is the sweetest thing! I just loved cuddling with her. She was wearing a onesie that said "Little Princess," which just made me smile since she is a little person. Would you continue to pray for Angi, please? She has 3 other kids and a 12 YO foster son. Her 3 YO daughter is VERY high maintenance. The girl is all over, all the time. We think she has ADHD as well as being defiant. This is not an issues of poor parenting, either. I can't imagine what she would be like if her parents weren't as consistent as they are. She even got kicked out of preschool in three days, if that tells you anything. Anyway, Angi is home all day with both girls and is having a serious lack of sleep. I just wish I could go over there and watch Ella for a while so Angi could nap, but physically I can't right now. Mostly all I can do is pray and listen to Angi when she needs to talk. Anyway, any prayers for her would be much appreciated.
As for me, I just still need prayers for the morning sickness. I feel horrible right now, and I have to work four nights this week, so I really don't know how I will handle everything. (I have my own direct sales business, so it's not like a job that I have to do a lot, but I need to be perky and entertaining, or at least appear that way!) Please pray especially on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon. I would move the shows, but I am booked solid though Christmas, and I didn't do a lot last month so we really need the money.
Good for you, Christie, for trying to get into a routine. I am very impressed with your self-discipline. I will be praying for strength for you to continue and meet your goals! I have also been praying about your son and the house stuff. Please keep us updated!
Dawn, congrats in finishing work! I'm so looking forward to pictures and a birth story! My due sate seems so far away, and since I can't feel the little guy yet, it still doens;t seem that real. I will continue to pray for a smooth labor and delivery and for your family. I have been praying for your son as well as your DH.
Thanks, ladies, for being so encouraging! I am enjoying getting to know you better!
Good morning ladies!
I think I have found those 12.5 pounds that you lost, Christie.. LOL
OK, I am back for a minute! LOL Mom was called off yesterday so she was home again and I spent most of the day cleaning our hard wood floors! I learned a valuable lesson though (first time cleaning these type of floors). When the polish says to put directly on the mop, there is a reason for it. Yes, I now have SPOTS!!! LOL Oh well.
Tonight, the small group I am in is having a sleep over. Someone blessed us with a vacation home for the night. I am SOOOOOOOOO excited!!! I am leaving in about an hour, probably, now that my dd just got out of the shower and I can get in it.
It doesn't look like we are going to be able to buy the house, but of course, nothing is set in stone yet and our God is greater than all these worldly things that make it seem like we can't buy it. But again, it may be God's will for us to be in a home that we won't have so much to do to fix, LOL! So we are up for whatever God wants us to do even though we really would rather not move again. My son's attitude seems a lot better at times, but he can still be really hateful and mean to my older dd Elissa. So that still needs prayer.
I am getting ready to start school in a couple of weeks (well, as soon as my books get here, I will start the one class as it is an independent study) and I am so excited about it!!! I never thought it would happen, but God just threw the door wide open and I ran through! LOL I guess today I have more praises than requests, huh? That's a good thing!! So I guess just pray that I am able to study with all these kids around me all the time and that I will get good grades and not get stressed out.
I'll check in tomorrow sometime after I get home. Then tomorrow evening I am hosting a jewelry party. This weekend is soooooooooo busy!!!!
Good Saturday Morning Girls!!!
Christie-- I hope you had a great time at your sleepover!
