Hi Cathy! Looking forward to getting to know you even better and praying! That must be difficult preparing the lectures and materials from scratch. Sounds very time consuming. I hope that you will be able to get it all completed and it doesn't take too much time. I find that interesting about the two lives. I guess that can happen to all of us. People who only see us in one avenue of our lives...don't realize there is more to us or don't really think about it.

How has the new year been so far? In a word...tiring! I have been feeling very exhausted lately and I don't know if it is my thyroid again or what. I was hoping after the RAI treatment that I would get my energy back.

Favorite thing about winter? The beauty of the snow when it blankets everything. I don't like after a couple of days because then it is slushy and dirty. :(

Hidden talent? I like to sing. Not sure I can, but it makes me happy when I am singing worship songs.

If you had an afternoon to yourself, what would you do?

I hope you are having a great evening!

Angie, did you have (still have) thyroid cancer?

I don't have thyroid cancer, I have a very (triple) hyperactive thyroid. They used the treatment to kill it and now I am waiting to start synthyroid. I still have dark circles under my eyes and have zero energy. So glad your body scans have been negative since.

A massage sounds so nice. I would probably curl up on the couch, watch movies and then read.

If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go?

I hope you are having a terrific day.

I hear you on the weight gain. I am hoping that levels off soon, but I am too tired to exercise.

I am doing a reading contest from the local library. You read a book from each continent, a book of your choice, a book discussion book and a state one book. You have a passport to fill out and you can go around the world four times. I am reading a book set in England right now. I am hoping to finish it tonight, so I can start the book from Australia.

Aruba does sound very nice. I would probably go west and visit a few states. But outside the US it would have to be Australia, Hawaii, Ireland or Scotland.

We watched Nanny McPhee Returns this evening. I like her movies. The kids seem to enjoy them too.

Tomorrow is going to be a super busy day. We are taking ds girlfriend to work, I have an appt for blood work, afterward we are meeting my Mom for lunch and then the kids have a homeschool class at the library.

What's the rest of your week looking like?

Two honeymoons in the first year sounds like a blast. I would love to drive out west and experience all I could.

Sorry your boss had Graves (that is what they diagnosed me with), but nice that he understands.

Glad you were able to come back home today. Hope grocery shopping went well. Praying for a wonderful lecture tomorrow.

I am exhausted from running around today. DH is working overtime, so I have the night shift tonight too. Tomorrow I need to go to the warehouse store, get gas, make muffins and go to our new homegroup. We are meeting for the first time and deciding on what we would like to study...a book from the bible or an organized study. Should be a great time of fellowship.

Do you and DH have date nights? DH and I have been trying to incorporate at least one date night a month. Sometimes we only hang out at home and watch a movie with some good food and others we got out for dinner or dessert and coffee.

I hope you are having a great evening!

I'm sure all that running around is exhausting, plus with your DH gone, you can't get any rest.

Sounds like we as Moms do a ton of juggling! I haven't gone on a weekend trip with just DH and I since we got married. I am hoping we can do an overnight sometime this year.

I hope you have a great time of fellowship with the couple from church. I am really looking forward to the first homegroup meeting tonight at my friend's house. I am going to try and make some banana oatmeal muffins to bring.

I hope you are having a fabulous Friday! :)
