I am still a bit in shock that it is a new year already.

A few small praises to report: Leah is making gradual progress with the bottle. Friday she took 1 oz, and Saturday she took 2 oz (in one practice feeding). If we keep going in that direction, that would be great!

Friday, Andrew had a bit of a rough day, and I even called the pedi to see if there was anything else I could do for him. Saturday he was a lot better - the runny nose seemed to be gone, and last night I didn't hear him coughing much at night (maybe I just slept through it this time?)

Saturday we went to DH's dad's house for dinner and to give him his Christmas present. DH's dad passed away the week before Christmas, and DH's stepmom's dad passed away the week after Christmas, so its been a rough time for them. Their house is small and NOT child proofed, so it was a bit of an adventure!

Today is church of course. Hopefully Leah will take naps again - I really need to cook some real food for dinner. I'm not sure when I'll go into the office this week. Looks like Friday I need to go in for a lunch, not sure when otherwise...

Have a great day!

Woohoo for Leah drinking some from the bottle.

Every time I think Andrew is doing better, he gets worse. Last night was rough - he woke up crying 3 times before we brought him to bed with us for a while to calm him down. His Sunday School teacher said he had a horrible cough, but as soon as I got him (to run the nursery during worship), he was better. No fever and his runny nose is gone, so I guess this just has to run its course.

Leah's attempt at a bottle this morning did not go well, maybe she was TOO hungry. DH is trying again as I type. I'm getting anxious - I have so much work to do (job) and so hard to do it form home.

I hope you have fun at Julia's class! Hard to believe I'll be doing that someday!

Don't even talk to me about messy houses. Mine's a wreck. I've just convinced myself that doesn't matter until I get used to working again and Leah starts taking that bottle (because now, I have to find time to pump those bottles).

Any prayer needs?

I'll be praying for your decision about having another baby. I'll also be praying for your grandma.

Wow, kindegarten already!

Yesterday, Leah ended up taking 1.75 oz, then today she took 1.25 oz. I think she wasn't particularly hungry at today's attempt though, because when I nursed her afterwards, she didn't really eat too much. I think Leah's issue when she's hungry is that she's frustrated to not get her food the way she expects. Anyway, DH is encouraged that she'll take 1-2 oz per sitting consistently, and if that means a lot of quick meals when I'm at the office, he's okay with that. I worry about him handling that and Andrew's energetic self... I just keep telling myself, it will get better.

Andrew has always been a super healthy kid. Never really had fevers, never an ear infection, and his colds never lasted this long. Today was a better day...

I'm very happy to hear things are starting to look up.
