My DH was nervous about having kids too. By the time we got to TTC (after I got the go-ahead medically), I was 31, so we couldn't really put it off anymore.

I hope you finally get a hold of that lady! Sheesh!

That's funny that they would cancel school just to use up a calamity day. You never know what kind of crazy snow storms you might get in March! That's how it is out here, anyway.

So now I'm sick too, and Leah and DH are getting it. Andrew is improving. I'm actually doing much better than yesterday - I'm surviving without cold meds. The pedi told me I could take certain things while BFing, but she didn't tell me that with Andrew (I think because she had her own babies after Andrew was born - you probably become less strict when you feel miserable yourself) but I'm still trying to avoid too much medicine. I went to bed early last night and slept in today, so maybe that helped. I'm behind on work, but I can't really function when I feel like this.

I better go wake Andrew up from his nap - can't have him sleeping too long too close to bedtime!

I didn't realize you've had your DH at home for a few days - has he given you any relief from the kids? I saw that you guys has a coffee date - I hope that was nice. What does he do?

My DH gets to "work" today too - meeting with that couple. Also yesterday, he scheduled an appointment for me and him to meet with one of his former "clients". When he was just starting out, a financial advisor we knew took Dale along to meet a couple he was helping out. They were married at the time, but now they are divorcing, and she asked us to give her some advice (I come along when DH meets with single women).

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't leave $2000 in a box out in the open like that! Hopefully you can connect this weekend.

Andrew and I are improving from our colds. I slept through the night without any meds, so that's definitely good! DH is worse though and Leah seems a tiny bit worse too. But hopefully we'll all be better by Sunday, since DH and I are working the nursery at church again.

That's cute that Julia wants to see the new Aldi. Funny how girls are different than boys that way. Leah is 5 months old, but I think she actually likes hanging out in her bouncer in the kitchen when I cook or clean.

So much to do at work today - ugh. Losing those few hours so I could sleep extra made me fall further behind at work, but the extra sleep definitely helped me get better from this cold!

Unfortunately Leah and DH aren't doing much better. But Leah is not crabby, other than the fact that she's having trouble nursing on one side (I compensate by holding her a different way). She's just a happy baby. We were well enough to work the nursery in church, and it ended up being a relatively light day in there (only two other kids besides ours). And those kids were a little sick too!

Its great to see your kids learning things like that. It amazes me to see Andrew put ideas together, and Julia's even older, so it must be even more interesting.

I think I hear a baby crying. I better run. I mainly logged on to say it was great praying and chatting with you these past two months!

Julia isn't a complainer when she is sick either.
