It is very difficult on me to look at houses when we are not ready.

Looks like we were online at the same time!

That's great that the kids all had fun yesterday and everything went well with the mom.

I totally understand that feeling of finding an awesome house and not being ready quite yet. DH and I watched the market for a few years before we were ready to buy, and it drove us crazy! We'd always see awesome houses in our price range but we weren't in a position to do anything. I'm glad we waited, because we got an insane deal on this house - basically free money. So hopefully God will reward your patience!

That sounds like fun for Julia - hopefully JJ will comply and take a nap so he can have fun too. We really need to take Andrew to something like that, but our schedules just don't work out that way yet. Maybe someday I'll take a Friday off so Andrew can go to Squeaky Sneakers... I'm just too behind on work right now to take any time off.

Hopefully you saw my other prayer request that I typed while you were typing. Keep our Sunday excursion in your prayers. I am looking forward to seeing a different church - I'm kinda burning out on church lately anyway.

Hey Cindy, I just wanted to pop on with a quick prayer request in case the weekend gets too crazy.

We are going to visit a friend's church on Sunday. Its an hour away, so we're not considering switching to there or anything. DH just respects the pastor (They are involved in an organization together) so he wants to visit. I'm nervous for how Andrew will handle being in Sunday School with strangers, and I'm nervous for the weather. Its snowing this weekend, and this church is out in the snow belt. And of course I'll have to nurse Leah in a strange place, and not sure if I'll find anywhere to hide or enough opportunities to do it,

Oh, that really stinks that you lost your cookies! That would totally ruin my day!

Don't worry too much about your walls - I think people are generally understanding about little renovation projects as long as your house isn't a total disaster. Talking about painting hits a little nerve with me. We haven't done any painting in our new house, and we've been here almost 2 years now. Just hasn't been a priority for DH, and now we have two kids to worry about instead of just 1. We also need to put some tile behind the stove, etc, because that wall got all splashed up with grease and the paint is flat and doesn't clean well. Ugh.

I didn't realize both of your kids were in school. JJ's close to Andrew's age, right? How many days/hours is he in school?

My ears have been ringing and its driving me crazy. I need to start praying that they get better with home treatments because I really don't have time to go to the doctor again. Last time, they cleaned them out, and then tested my hearing, and it looked like I was slowly losing my hearing. For crying out loud, I was only 32-33 at the time!

Please keep praying for DH to get some work inspiration. I really need to talk to him about helping me on my days at home. Tuesday was so hectic, and with Andrew waking up earlier (though he slept in yesterday!) I need to find solutions so I can actually get work done on the days I work from home.

I'm not sure it matters that the spring fundraiser would be complete before spring, becuase then everyone will have their stuff in time for spring? Then again, some people (like myself) probably have a hard time thinking about spring stuff before spring actually comes. I hope your meetings went well!

I am pumping right now and boy there is a lot of milk coming out! I left an extra big bottle for Leah's first one, and there is plenty in the fridge, but it will still be interesting to see how everything works with Leah. DH did get up on time (before I left), and I woke up with plenty of time too.

SIL is an excellent babysitter. She was Andrew's primary caregiver when I was in the hospital having Leah, and she even volunteers to watch the kids.

I hope you had a good day at the gym! That's funny that you and DH just wave in passing. And even funnier that you enjoy showering there! I've actually never showed in a public thing like that. I only exercise at home (and haven't really done that for a long time). Who watches the kids when you are there?

Speaking of weight loss, I am now 20 lb lighter than I was when I got pregnant with Leah! Woo hoo! Thank God for GD and nursing!

Yesterday was hectic - Andrew woke up early again and so did Leah. I think that's now Andrew's new wake up time, which makes sense, but will make working from home more difficult when I start that up again. Thankfully, Leah settled into a routine very much like the one she has when DH watches her. I was amazed honestly. She did that a little on Saturday too, and it will be great if she does it Thursday. So Praise God for that!

Today will be a busy day at work, and I'm planning to leave a little early so I can go to the LC's office and buy a new nighttime bra. I hope she can accomodate me!

I'm like that too - I thrive on having things planned in advance. That's the problem with my coworkers sometimes - they tend to procrastinate, and I get stressed if something isn't planned out enough in advance.

My MIL has done this food thing when I've either planned a meal or was in the middle of cooking more than once. It used to frustrate me, but now I consider it a blessing. I think she does it partially for the praise and thanks though... whatever, any help I can get is great!

I actually hate shopping. I get it from my mom. But its nice this time because I have a lot of GCs and some things in mind.

I forgot a couple of little prayer requests. Wednesday I am going to leave for work early and therefore not be able to nurse Leah before I go. This will be the first time I don't nurse her first thing in the morning - it should go well, but I still worry and its weird. (Last Wednesday I woke her up before I left for work, and she did NOT like that!) Also, DH and I have been discussing having his sister move in with us. She's been in her own apartment for a couple years now, but she's tight financially. A year with us would allow her to save up some money and pay off her student loans. We have the space - we'd have to move stuff around. And she's a great person and is even slowly becoming a Christian.
