The first time this summer that I had the kiddie pool out for Andrew, he was in it for 1.5 hours.

so how is your weekend going? we have had an easy day today. decompressing from my first week back at school. i also cooked for the first time this week. i made spagetti.... its amazing how when you get home from being gone all day all you want to do is sit. this week has consisted of take out, chicken nuggets and pizza. i am going to have to get the hang of better meal planning so that we can have healthy meals again :)

DH's appt with the chiropractor went really well! DH thinks they found the root of the problem, so he is working on stretching exercises until his next appt on Tuesday, and he's already doing much better.

Yesterday (saturday) was fun - we went to the city pool, and Andrew really had fun. After his nap, he really wanted to run around the yard, but DH fell asleep (he had a hard time sleeping the night before) and I had a hard time keeping up with Andrew because my back has been bothering me too. I didn't realize how much strain mopping the floor would be! I think depending on where baby sits, I get back pain, and sometimes its so bad that I cry or can't walk. Right now I'm up in the middle of the night and I have no idea why I can't sleep! So please be in prayer for that!

What are you in school for? I"m sure its very draining to go to school and then come home and turn all of your attention and energy to the kiddos - very much like me working full time and then having to fully focus on Andrew when I get home. There's no rest. I can totally relate to the meal thing too! I think the week of July 4 all we ate was cookout food! I'm trying to cook more and do less take-out, but sometimes its just hard to keep up.

Tomorrow (or today) we have church too - we're running the nursery during worship so I really hope I can get some sleep and my back feel better! Then when Andrew goes for nap I will try to get some work done (job work) and definitely try to rest!

That's so cool that you make afghans. Someone made a beautiful pug-themed quit for Andrew and I'm so afraid of it getting ruined that its still put away after the move. I need to figure out what to do with it (display it?)

I think I will try to sleep again. Enjoy your Sunday!

You should probably see a chiropractor yourself...
