Hey, Angie! Good to have you as a prayer partner! :)

Here are my answers:

I don't usually plan to spring clean, it just happens as the sun begins to show more often, the snow melts and I can air out the house! LOL

I'm not a garage sale person, but my oldest sister is, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a gene thing and I become an avid "garage saler" as I age. ;)

And I'm not sure about the meals because it depends on my mood - there are times I love preparing a meal that takes a good 90 mins or more and then there are many days I just want something simple so I can fill my belly and relax! LOL I do pick out recipes based on ease of preparation, but I'm growing more confident as time goes along. I suppose today's planned meal, chicken fajitas, scores on two counts: not too difficult/long to make and oh so delicious!

Let me know if you have any prayer requests today. I'll be praying for motivation, patience and good spirits - AF has been nice this week as far as pain goes but I'm all over the place for energy and mood. Not used to that!

I will be praying for your energy and mood! AF can cause so many changes. She usually makes me miserable!

I would like prayers for continued healing from pneumonia for my MIL and for safe travel to and from the indoor water park Monday and Tuesday. Thanks so much.

No movies today, though we were home most of the day. Now we're checking out last night's Blue Bloods, though it turns out to be a re-run. We also have Fairly Legal and Spartacus. Could also watch the first Beastmaster movie since I got that for Hubby, who likes the cheesy '90's TV show.

I'm feeling better now and will try to be on guard for different energy levels next time AF is due. I did have troubles yesterday with a little stress bothering my stomach - the new satellite dish didn't go in the best place and then the kids were grumpy... but the day ended well with a clean kitchen, fresh muffins and reading in bed. :)

I'll be praying for MIL and the water park trip.

That does sound like a great ending to the day! Thanks for the prayers! We got home before 10 pm last night. We are all still really tired. We spent 8 hours at the water park yesterday. Hopefully hanging out today, getting ice cream, eating birthday cake and watching movies will help! :)

Gotta ease back into life at home with some more fun! :)

Aside from Tim talking back a bit when I tell him to share or be gentle, today is going well. ;) It did start early after a late night, but I had a bit of napping on the couch after breakfast and might take a catnap when the boys have their afternoon rest. I hope Ben's wonky mornings straighten out soon - he'll have one or two good ones, sleeping till 6 or later and then be restless the next morning and be up between 4:30 to 5:30 and want me to stay right with him. That might be easier if he were in a toddler bed...

Guess I should come up with a lunch idea and then I'm going to start supper prep. I don't actually know whether whether we have to go out late this afternoon or will be home while Hubby takes the dog to the vet. We need better communication on these things! ;)

Hi Becca! What did you and DH decide about taking Tas to the vet? How was your day today?

It was a very rainy day here. We went to the library and then to the grocery store. I was able to turn in my first passport for the reading contest and finished the book that had to be turned into today since it is an interlibrary loan. It is about movie time. I think we are going to watch Life As We Know It. Looks like a cute movie.

I hope you have had a tremendous day!!

Hubby emailed me at one point in the day to tell me what time he'd meet me at the vet, so it turned out to be a good idea to start supper early and we even picked up some yummy cereal on the way home. (Hubby fell prey to a viral marketing plan that claimed Cap'n Crunch was going bye-bye, but it's still around and now we have two boxes to enjoy. LOL)

Tas is healthy, got his bordetella/kennel cough spray and will soon have an appt booked to get his teeth cleaned. And no more table scraps 'cause he has to slim down a little and get more active...

Today was good even though we were up early and I didn't take a nap. Maybe I shouldn't be taking naps and I'll get more done plus have time for me! ;) The kids are on track for the time change this weekend, so there's a chance I'll soon be feeling like we're sleeping in when we wake at 6 or later. :)

Tonight I'm going to play more with the computer game I have to review, and will hopefully get through enough of it that I feel free to read lots this weekend. I've got one of the Royal Diaries books from the library plus a Tim Downs novel, so I'm not lacking for reading material. :)

Tomorrow we have a couple errands to deal with in the morning and a bit of extra cleaning throughout the day so that the house looks good when two of Hubby's co-workers come on the weekend to look at our plumbing and give us a heads-up on future costs.

Nothing big is going on right now as far as prayer requests. And that deserves a moment of thanksgiving and praise on my part. ;) Maybe that means it's my time to focus on prayers for others!

How was your weekend? Ours was good, though I could have done with more sleep. We did all right getting the boys ready for the time change by going to bed 10 - 15 mins earlier each night (from Tuesday onward, since I get them off to bed before going to Tuesday Bible study). Unfortunately, I didn't get the same strategy worked out for myself. I did get to bed early Friday night since it was Hubby's gaming night.

My mum's spending some time away from home because one of her aunts is sick and lives alone. I'm wondering if this is the end. I started thinking that at least two years before Grandpa died. Every time Mum would give a health update I'd mentally start preparing a little for his death. Same thing happened with Grandma, too, actually. I'll be praying for my aunt because she isn't saved. Hopefully Mum being there will lead to an opportunity for them to speak openly about God.
