Hi Lindy! Great questions!

I don't like to do a big clean while doing it, but I like it when it is done! ;)

I love yard/garage sales! I love getting a great deal!

I love to cook Italian dishes. Hmm, I am not sure what is my least favorite.

Hiya, Angie! It's good to see you in here :)

I love your first answer! That sounds about right for me too :D

I love yard and garage sales too but hardly ever get out to them.

I am not a great cook but I do like making stir fry sometimes in the wok now. But my favorite thing to cook is frozen pizza or something equally simple :p

I haven't gotten out to yard sales in the past few years. I need to get rid of some stuff though. Some things are hard to part with....especially books or curriculum.

I love a good stir fry. I don't make it though. ;) Simple works for me too! By that time in the evening I don't want to have to think or make something complicated.

I know what you mean about stuff being hard to get rid of. Sadly, my problem with curriculum lately seems to be that i have more than what i'm using and yet still find more to add lol

How are things going there? I saw in ltp that you're exercising and that it's going really well for you and helping a lot. How are things going with the house(s)?

Today I have a praise--can't really get in specifics but I'm so thankful that God answered a huge request :) And now i'm doubly excited about my upcoming trip to see Tina in St Louis because something that was hanging over us has been mostly resolved. If you could please pray for my marriage though, that would be great. After the really tough couple of years we've had, I thought that at least our marriage was strong but it turns out that there are some huge issues that have surfaced. I'm pretty sure that most couples go through this but prayers are very welcome :)

Woohoo for God answering that huge request! I will be praying for your trip to see Tina. I am praying that you also have an amazing time. {{{{Hugs}}}} and prayers for your marriage. They are really a lot of work, aren't they? I keep trying to remember that on the other side of those challenging times is blessing!

What is it about curriculum? I just can't get enough of it! ;)

Things are going okay. We have been super busy with taking the time to go to the indoor fitness place, the house full of people and schooling.

Ugh the houses. We have stopped renovating here due to the grandbaby being in the house and not being able to paint. We are hoping to be working on our basement and replacing the old deck next month. I have been trying to clean my moms place here to there. I feel like we are in a holding pattern, but when it takes off it will really take off. I am praying we will be able to keep up! :)

I am so sorry that i haven't posted here before now. It's taken a bit to get back on track since we got home. I am still having some trouble getting into the groove. Bleck.

I'm sorry that you're in a holding pattern right now on the house and I hope that you're able to get the deck done next month. You mentioned a tough time with your dd so I am praying for her and for you as well. Family issues are definitely tough and I can't even imagine how difficult it can be with adult kiddos (and now i'm cringing to thing that lijah and peanut will be grown ups someday! Yikes!)

I would really appreciate it if you could pray for my dh. He's battling insomnia and it seems to be leading to depression and I think it's made worse by stress at work. And please pray for me too-that i can handle this bump in the road without getting overwhelmed or making it worse but also without trying to step in and fix things. He really needs a renewed relationship with God, but that can be hard when feeling down already (if that makes sense) Thanks so much :)

That makes perfect sense.

Wow--all that work does sound pretty daunting. I am glad that whenever we do move, it's not our house to sell. Gma-in-law has one person that really really wants to buy this house but he's just wanting it for the land. He's bought property around here and puts like 3 or 4 houses on the space where one house with a big yard used to be and i'm pretty sure that's what he wants to do here. I think she'd rather have someone buy the house to live in it. Either way, at least there won't be much updating that we have to worry about.

Speaking of moving, we still don't have any set plans or timetable for a move but I really need to start acting like we are going so that i can keep de-cluttering. I kind of stalled and now the areas that once felt cleared (after clutter bust rounds one and two) are feeling super cluttered again. Maybe i'll get the motivation soon....i hope...

Letting kids live out the consequences must not be easy at all--i have trouble enforcing the little natural consequences so it must take amazing strength for you to handle older and grown up kids. I think i must be a giant parenting weakling!

Oh my, where has the weeks gone! I can't believe how long it has been since I have been in this thread. Wow!

I don't like when someone takes land and breaks it up like that. My brother used to tease my Mom about doing that with her property, but when it came down to it, he was the first to ask if I would be willing to sell my house and buy our parents place.

I hear you on the decluttering. I feel like we get one spot cleared and the next thing you know there is something else there. Still praying for the motivation over here.

Please pray for protection for my grandbaby. The father assured me he had a place for them to live and now I find out that it wasn't true and they are bouncing around from place to place. This breaks my heart.

Oh no! I thought she was still with you. I will be lifting her up and the rest of your family too. You've had a rough stretch and I'm so sorry that there are still so many complications. I pray you get a season of peace and that your grandbaby gets peace and stability in her life.

The other fun thing about de-cluttering is that once you make a good amount of progress, you feel uncluttered for a bit. Then you get used to that and the same space starts feeling cluttered again (even if nothing new has been added) At least, that's how it is for me :p

My brain is all scattered right now so i'll head to bed before i get even more rambly.
